Yeah you're right. I thought I'm gonna get the x2 bonus after I finish secondary mission 5 times. But it looks the bonus works even if it's not completed.

Completing the 2ndary mission the required number of times is for honours. Getting the x2/x3 bonus is for any battle when you complete the 2ndary mission once (even AFTER you have done it enough for honours). So, if you have to do it 5 times for honours, and you do it 6, that sixth time it will still apply a x2 or x3 bonus to that battle if you haven't finished the primary goal yet.

Are you serious with the 14th mission in Coalition ? Who will deal 8 Hits in first 3 mins when travel takes 1 minute ? I know those Coalition nations have mostly autoloaders but anyway the first clip may be easy but the second one have to be suicide... And this is only the first set of those missions...

Well I thought it was OK...I used the AMX 13 57 GF (E25 would be no good as it's the wrong country!)

Question: I completed a mission without honours (Primary: Destroy 20 vehicles & Secondary: cause 3k dmg 5 times). I have the option to improve my result or continue to the next mission but then "all progress on previous mission will be reset". If I choose to improve result, do I have to destroy 20 vehicles again or does it consider that part completed and I can focus on the secondary conditions…?

If you change the mission:

- if the primary conditions are not completed, the primary progress is lost

- if the primary conditions are completed, the primary progress is kept

- if the secondary conditions are not completed, the secondary progress is lost

Ok, thx for that. but if I want to improve result (in this case try and complete the mission WITH  honours), the primary progress is reset?

No, you should not lose the completed primary if you want to improve results on the Excalibur missions, as I've done this a couple of times already. I haven't tried on Chimera ones yet, so don't know if they are the same.

It is ridiculous that on a mission in which your team has to destroy an enemy vehicle that you have spotted or tracked and you track the vehicle and your team destroys the tracked vehicle but wait....you stunned the vehicle too. So the tracking doesn't count...lol.  It was tracked and then destroyed, but the stun erases the fact that it was tracked.  This is so unlogical that it gives me a headache trying to find the tiniest smidgen of logic in it.  I can't even find fake logic.

The same is true for missions that require your team to damage a tank tracked or spotted by you.  If you stun the tank and track it, the damage dealt is only attributed to the stun and none to the fact that it is tracked and immobile.

I was wondering which idiot was behind the idea for bouncing missions????!!!!!!!! every game with at least two arty. how the hell are we supose to bounce arty raping the crapout of us while trying to bounce????? any of developers tried that??? seriously doubt they did. jesus christ. .are you guys really so freaking incompetent and dumb?????? You give no chance to people finishing their mission with use of skill and knowledge. you threw everything in garbage can and letting mission be depending on your completely failed mm(which is debate on its own) and bloody rng. no skill and no knowledge will help you finish this mission. In some countries you would be publicly dealth with for this kind of stupidity and making fun out of normal people. No freaking wonder you clowns are bleeding players hard core

I really don't understand how you were thinking about these personal missions WG.
First set of missions actually were fun.

You could get the tanks by actually trying to do your best.
Having fun in your light tanks or blocking like a god in your heavy.
Getting high dmg with your tier X autoloader etc.

Now the first mission for the Excalibur is just a horrid grind.
Grind grind grind, no skills needed.
Where is the fun in that?

I have a family, a house and a job.
Do you have any idea how long this first mission will take me?
Guessing, never.

And the thing is, World of Tanks is the only game I play and kind of enjoy.
But latley, the fun is sipping away from the game.
Feels like there are no more "fun" tanks to play.
I remember the ELC with a fond memory, but that is in the past.

The mission for the T25, that felt like a fun mission.

The first in a long time.
I really enjoyed that, because it was actually something you could see as a goal.

But the grind for the Excalibur, and the fact that it is nothing else then a grind.
I actually have given up on ever getting that tank. And because of that, the actual skill based missions starting with the second tank, is impossible for me to reach.
Just because I can't give this game that amount of time.

Feels like you excluded a big portion of your playerbase by doing this.

The 4th mission in the coalition is a frecking joke if you don't have the premium 13 75.  You are forced to yolo in and pray things go well or the opponents need to line up for you.    WG change this please it's ridiculous.

Well I got my Excalibur today with 31/60 honours so far, so lots of improving result battles to come. Some of the missions I found horrendously grindy, boring and frustrating, others were fast and/or enjoyable. I found it interesting that the ones people find grindy vary from individual to individual. The one I actually struggled most with was Coalition-15. Everything I attempted in order to get a battle heroes/epic medal seemed to go wrong. In one case, I tried the AMX 13 57F, thinking I'd easily get a Scout or Patrol Duty, and instead came out with a Confederate!

Overall though, I did actually enjoy the Excalibur mission set up. I found the choice of tank for a mission was very important, and in some cases this meant dusting off a tank I'd not used for months/years. That in itself added more variety into my gameplay than just rolling out with my standard daily tanks.

One thing I struggled to find information on was the reward camouflage scheme. So, for anyone wanting to know what it looks like, I took some pics
