Hello everyone!

Given the very often seen opinion from my clan colleagues and from players on the random queue, and my opinion as well, Ensk and Province are 2 maps which should be removed from the tier 10 game play, for the following reasons:

-they are designed very bad:

    >Ensk is too small for the amplitude of a 15v15 battle in the tier 10 where you can be spotted from a red line to the opposite red line;

    >Province has too much unused space, and the battle is mainly fought in 2 corridors, which narrows the effective area of the battle to only 500 sq meters;

-Province offers very few choices for flanking maneuvers and is limited to the "all in" paths, where if you are overwhelmed, you can not retreat to any effective cover.

-The maps offer very few to no possibilities of game play for tier 10 tanks like light tanks and lightly armored vehicles or fast mediums.

-The maps offer very few tactical options for competitive game play:

    >Ensk in clan wars and advances is played either on the "green" or in the city, and in both cases a lot of choke points are formed when both teams meet.

    >Province offers you only 2 possibilities (either camp 2 meters from the spawning point, either go across the field). I mean, if a map offers the possibilities to camp or attack on a narrow corridor, it is not that great of a gaming experience.

These are the main reasons why I believe that these maps should be removed from tier 10 and limited to maximum tier 6.

What do you think? Would you add something else?

P.S. I am aware that the patch 1.1 is supposed to remove Province from tier 10 to max tier 7, but it is not yet certain, still in the test.

They already said they'll remove Province for tier 7 and above...

They should do the same with Ensk IMO.

Ensk is alright imho, I'd rather see Mines gone from high tier rotation.

Province was great for low teir awful for high teir  top teir now should be 4  3 is best

Ensk you get spotted before you move at T10, my lowe has been wrecked  before leaving circle, tracked and ammo racked.. 4 hits before getting across to any cover. then hid behind the building in the circle til they came, got one shot off then dead.

In a few days Province will lose it's tier 8+ matches. So no need to worry about that.

Enks is a mixed bag. Middle and field can be fun regardless of tier. Town? Less so. The issue I have there on high tiers is that when you have 5 super heavies on F2 all trying to fight out the same narrow corridor. You get 4 inactive guns. So 1 gun pokes out to face more guns. As when one gun can hit there, he will block everything behind him. I've seen super heavies lose to less guns there more then anything. Tier X tanks there are just to big for the narrow fighting there vs say a tier 6 HT. And one team never uses the 1 and 3 lane anyway. One team locks those side lanes down, and the other team is forced to focus their guns on the bottleneck.

As others have pointed out, you're a little late with your province grievances. As for Ensk I would prefer if they reworked it bigger, sure, but I wouldn't need it to be prioritized. Mines on the other hand is much worse in this regard eventhough its a larger map.

Mines is one of the best maps and well balanced tho. Could be played as higher tier, also as lower tiers. This map is unique, and you can't find similarity in other maps. Every other map lacks something.

I'd rather play Province at higher tiers than either Ensk or Mines.

Ensk generally is a play heavy tank or GTFO map and Mines is just unbalanced most of the time and decided by the hill too much.

They should have extended both of these maps into at least 1k by 1k ones, there is a giant Ensk they have had in super test for ages and mines they should have extended and added more routes up into the hill.

funny no one mentioned Himmelsdorf.

It's as bad as Mines. Who ever wins the hill wins the battle. Same as Mines

i am sure Ensk could be better, all you do is either rgo in the open or go in the heavy brawling lane, only fun I ever get out of that map is if i am in a big silly superheavey and am about to die, angle that tank and block off one of the corridors, the laughs per minute that will give you is amazing, especially if you are in ta toon or better still a Tog:trollface:

Ensk is OK map for clan fights at t10. It's small map but the layout gives some varied tactical options and the fights tend to be fast, fierce and brutal leading to avalanche wins.

In clan level it's "quick" map where you set the stone rolling and see how it works, not much management possible.

When you start play at lower tiers you are constantly given mines and Himmelsdorf as the fighting arena, they should both be removed from +6 tier play. Ensk and Province aren't great either and should be limited in the same manner.

WG should use access to maps as an incentive for newer players to get to them as they do higher tier tanks. Higher tiers means better maps, make sense to the progression the game emphasises with the tank upgrades.

Ensk is even worse. Providence is beeing removed, but in that map you can still spot. In ensk no.

Ensk would actually have potential, but then it'd have to be exclusively single tier battles. Being put on this map as bottom tier and/or a tank without armor is nothing but a punishment for pressing the battle button at the wrong time.

Province is just horrible at higher tiers.

Ensk is a least doable.

Also, wasn't there an Ensk rework in the pipelines?

And you seriously expect it to become better after the rework? :teethhappy:
