Why invest in any slow turning vehicle, with the new wheelies coming they don't stand a chance. Just wait and see how those platoons of high speed devils will dominate the game.

One of the better premiums due to not having to worry all that much about the mm you get. Pick a bush and chill instead of getting all worked up.

First  you need to find a place with a long strait shooting range or a open map. Next you need to find MORE than one bush or the will make a blind shot at you and that will pen because you dont have amor to bonce.

So in current state i dont reconend it, now when wheeled fast turning vehicle will come and you only get one shoot at them and you cant track then because you need more than one shot to do that.

I recomend NOT to spend money on STRV S1 in current state.

One of my go to tanks when I get the "I am too bad for this game and I should not be so aggresive" mood. It can pen quite anything it points its gun at, with great shell velocity. It has its issues with the setup time, but it also benefits from binos/net while rotating, which is something I've always wanted.

Its role is mainly to stay a bit back from the fighting, try to abuse its camo and perhaps its 30mm armor that can't be pennet by non-heat <=90mm guns.

This does not mean you should not move with your team once they start pushing a certain flank.

While it might not be able to finish a game by itself, it can support the team very well.

I got it with a 30% discount if I recall correctly, an agreement which I do not regret.

Have fun and enjoy the weekend!

With the current MM you  have a lot of  >90mm guns and you  are most likely to be low tier.

And what map can you play  where you can use the camo ?  If you are not 450 meters away your likey to get spotted when you shot or you are in a bush (or two) where you have a big arrow ponting it out (almost)

The most likey senario is that your HV goes and fight in a gorner so you cant support them and when you die the pingning you and asks why you did not support them !!!

SO this bundle is a skipper,  if you whant to sit  and relax in the back PLAY SPG ( arty) instead and it cost no money. You also get the satisfaction of beaing a pain

Its more fun playing STRV103B.  But both is so map dependent.

And if you want S1, buy it when it's not bundled

I love this tank, its my go to...

Yes its "specialized"... But fun to play and can face anyone as long as u play it as its meant to.

Note: Got the tier X 103b also, and i grinded for that cause of the S1

I bought and love both but S1 play more cause of its premium state that gives more xp and credits per game.

This tank is excellent. One of our contributors suggested to me to play with it... and he was right! Accurate gun, very good depression, nice DPM... even with MM +2 you can contribute to the victory :)

I was considering to buy it or the Cromwell ... but that 10% coupon I got yesterday of course is only valid for overpriced regular premium tank offers. So I'll save my money, thanks.

Well Your WG Staff, what else  should you say, you would talk against your "employer".  I have played this tank (STRV S1) alot and its so depentent on maps. AND There are some seriuos wrong if this tank is Accurate
and Its easier to snapp shots in obj 140 ( have both), than fully aiming and shooting with this. and IF you want to earn credits go with Progetto M35 mod. 46 instead. ( i did)

AND on the XP front, if you play it right then you dont get much XP,  even an arty is earning more XP ths STRV S1, UDES, STRV103-0 STRV103B in most games. You need to play agressive in front

to get XP, try that  with 30mm of armor that get ovematched.

They need change in armor so they reflect the mecanics they should have had. AND also remove the dead loader crap it does not have a loader :) its an auto loader with a 45 round magasine.

It does not have an loader as a crew member ?!?!

Just saying, we are not obliged to praise tanks just because we are WG Employees. If we are talking about a tank and sharing our personal opinion, that means we want/choose to do that. We do play this game like you do, we do have our personal opinions on tanks. We do like some of them and don't like some others and it is only normal.

@vuque, i respect  what you say. Only problem its easier to be positive towards a company product in public than negative. i dare you to criticize a tank in the same way you praise this one.

it's an average tank thats, good on some open maps, on most maps hard to play. dont get me worng i like the game.

Due to all changes, some makes the game better others could be discussed :(

The swedish tanks (TD's) have a problem due ton NO armor to count on AND the maps to  play the style the are intended. if you want to play them you need to have at least a good 400m distance to the enemy.

So at the moment there are much better choice  ea Progetto

Oh ... i'm tired what WG is forcing prem vehicles ... Bad MM killing tier 8 vehicles games ...

P.s. Strv. S1 is good prem but map rotation will kill gameplay on it.
