Is there a story behind the picture on the wall at Himmelsdorf (A4)?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. :B

Since there is no picture I can't tell anything about it, but I assume that the A4 is the size of the picture.

A4 is half the size of an A3 and double the size of an A5.:)

A4 is 210mm×297mm.

Maybe the devs pictured as WW2 officers?

The definition is too high for it being a real picture. So an easter egg with the devs maybe likely. Or the graphic team.

It could very well be the WW2 equivilent, of yearbook yourself. With the WG team, or something like that. :girl:

It's on several maps. You can find the same one on Overlord on the wrecked house on J7 to name one. It's basically just the WG devs having a bit of fun.

There is also a similar picture in the Fjords map, but unlike Himmelsdorf where it is out in the open you have to damage that house first to reveal the inside wall. (and it is in the upper storey of that house so no accidental tank vs tank shooting will reveal it, you have to deliberately fire upwards)

Several cats are present on few maps, I also seen few on incoming Mińsk map.

For sure somebody from dev team must love cats.
