Played Pilsen earlier, looks beautiful, hardly any bushes.

Players are over extending at the moment as nobody knows the map and want to see more of it, when everyone adjusts its gna be base red 1 line camp.

Thats where the bushes are.

So far, so good.

Once the dumb meta develops and we all go into autopilot I'm sure the enjoyment will inevitably drop when we end up with "that guy" on the team being a useless [REDACTED] but they're all each leagues ahead of that crapfest Ensk.

Minsk looked nice. But not sure if an arty likes that map.

As for realism, it´s a war time and they plant flowers with the city name?? No rubble on the street, no demolished houses?

Pilsen re-work seems good.  Stud isn't too bad and Minsk is just awful, still better than the Paris map though.

Studzianka is just another camp map. Hide and wait till others come and slaughter them. And that is based upon 2 battles there, things might change, but dont look like it. No one will rush over open ground in middle of map.

First and only time I played minsk, I was arty...  in a Crusader SP...  yeah, that was interesting.   Still, actually had a fun game.  Needed to retreat under fire, but it worked.   Lost because the team didn't respond to capping...

Its very big, which seems to allow more flanking and maneuvering, without the single MT and single HT spot.   Will see how the Meta works out in the future...

New maps are some of the worst they added in a while!

I prefer that italian map over any of the new maps, especially minsk..

Who ever is in charge of map design shoudl really watch some old replays of dragons ridge or other good, now removed maps

Played one game on both.

Liked Studzianki.

Disliked Minsk. I hate city maps.

Terible maps Minsk is even worse than Paris and Studzianki will become total campfest after players stop exploring the map

whoerer is in charge of map design probably does not play the game.

I am finding the new version of Pilsen, much nicer.

From what I can see so far...
If one team overloads one part of the map, it is possible to react. (If the players have the sense to turn back...)

There is a choice if you are a heavy, between different lanes to take.
It is much more of a playground for lights, & mediums can do whatever they like.
Far more fun.

All this is fairly academic though!

The top clans will work out the strengths & weakness fairly quickly.
We will soon know from them...

New maps though!

The more the better!

Why not introduce them with a scatter gun approach at basic level & let the players tell you which ones work & which ones do not?

I am sure you will get some very good feedback from the better clans very quickly!

I've enjoyed the new maps, far less corridors and not just good for one or two classes of tanks. This patch has been in general, with the new tanks lines and the added maps has been a good one. Looking forward to the return of Highway :)

So far so good. Minsk is a bit retarded in the city but overall ok. For now, i played only couple of games. That new (other) map is good for faster tanks, since is pretty open and heavier tanks can brawl around that factory or whatever [edited]it is.

This maps are the BEST in the game now.... this two maps are so balanced i think.... There are places for arty safe and some place where can arty shot you... so arty are not useless there... all can play good game... bushes and trenches are on good places... i love them... i want play only this new maps :D

Still enjoying these two maps.
Still working them out.
I like the fact, there seems to be opportunities for all classes!
I imagine that the top clans will work out the meta's of them fairly quickly...
They will tell you whether they work or not!

Minsk is very bad. The huge open area in the middle is a trap and no-one goes there so it might as well just be a giant lake for all the use it is. The rest of the map is standard boring city fight fare.

Studzianki is in my opinion the worst map in the game. The south is useless and no-one ever goes there as there is no cover/no tanks to fight. The north is useless as you cant actually fire into the brick works* so all you can do is poke up, get spotted and shot by the camping tds behind. The huge open areas with no cover nor any dips/ridges mean the games descend into camp fests that are ultimately decided by which team wins the brick works. I know this was really obvious during the super test so I'm not sure what can be done about it aside from a complete redesign. Playing Studzianki with artillery is just painful and again encourages even more camping as both the north and south are so open with little hard cover the second you are spotted you will be hit.

*While its very difficult, the west spawn CAN fire into the sides of tanks going to the brickworks from the east spawn, however the east spawn are unable to do the same due to a giant wall running along the ridge line. This gives a very nice advantage to the west spawn and of the 5 matches I've played on Studzianki all have been won by that side.

The changes to Pilsen are both good and bad. The heavy tank area is much more fun and playable, however the medium area will again become an utter campfest once the 'new map' syndrome runs out and people know that going into the middle means death and driving up the heavy bush lane is pointless as you won't spot anything without getting spotted yourself and killed.
