What do you guys think for the new polish tanks?

i played only the 25TP so far... and i quite like it,

. very mobile, quite easy to get into the 50 kph, i would say its one of  the most mobile if not the most mobile tier V medium

- -10 degree's of gun depression, yet the gun elevation seems to be poor

-  gun handling is not the best, but the gun penetration and alpha is quite good for tier V

so, overall i think its a really fun tank to play, i am using it to grind my first polish crew, and its have been pleasant...

Played the Tier 1, Aced it first try, moved along immediately. (Edit: Tier 1 aces are hard to come by these days, so this one is extra sweet!)

Only got tier 3 games so far in the tier 2, T29's HE is a good choice against it, that's all I can really say so far... -.-

Wait until sometime next week when I get the tier 10 and I'll do a full review of the line

Free XPd to tier 5, its fast + has -10 dep + gun is all around nice but jesus the bloom + aim time really sucks, or maybe im just not used to tier 5 since I haven't really played it at all recently

Finished tier 5, it's decent but I didn't enjoy it at all, the huge size + awful gun handling (even by tier 5 standards) + gun elevation + the fact tier 5 arties and derps exist made it kinda annoying to play, but it's decent nevertheless. It's kinda like a better Chi-Nu (much faster and has better premium but has slighty more awkward platform).

Tier 6, on other hand...

...best way to describe it is "tier 6 AMX 65t"

Kind of funny at tier 1 to see everyone on your team, and on the other team all in polish lights, absolutely hate machine guns though:trollface:

Yeah, can confirm that you have to be really passive on it to make it work properly. It sucks at close range.

Tier 5 seems like a terrible stock grind looking at the guns stats etc. But it seems like a good support med.

I thought so too, and even tried it once, but found out it was useless as a support med because the first gun has a range limit of 395 due to it being an autocannon.

Always nice to get more free content into the game, but I must say I am very underwhelmed by the early part of the tech tree. I've made up my way to the tier IV light tank, and haven't had all that great time with any of the tanks. The polish tech tree must have some of the worst stock grinds, with barely any modules carrying over in the low tiers, and the guns are absolutely terrible. For now they're workable since the matchmaker is full of other poorly armored polish tanks, but the stock guns struggle against even them. Who had the great idea of giving a big, sluggish "light" tank a tier II gun, and only 62mm penetration even on its top gun?! The 75 alpha doesn't make up for it and is not unique - just look at the Chinese Stuart, which is superior in every way. Just why did you have to make the low tiers nearly unplayable, just so that you can sell a bit more free XP? Aren't ALL the vehicles supposed to be enjoyable?

TLDR; The Polish line is pretty bad until the tier V tank is fully researched, and it is an unpleasant grind.

Polish line overall

+ Great to decent gun depression values all across the line

+ Good alpha damage overall save for a few notches early on

+ Decent armor in mid tiers, great in high tiers

- The line becomes on par with its peers only after researching the top gun for the tier V tank, very sub-par for the most part until that (so bad that even WG advertised us to get free XP to get past the low tiers, hmmmmm...:hiding:)

- The grind until fully researching the tier V medium tank is tedious and most certainly gruesome for less experienced players

- Often lacking in penetration until Tier V top gun

- Very poor radio ranges until tier VIII

- "Light tanks" play like mediums

Tier I

+ Higher alpha on the upgraded gun is nice

+ On par with peers

- Hard to land a shot with the upgraded gun

- Nothing outstanding about it

Tier II

+ Upgraded gun carries over from tier I

+ Good top gun for tier

+ Step up in gun handling, great gun depression (-12)

+/- Quite tall

- No armor

- Sluggish for a light tank, plays more like a medium tank

Tier III

+ Good top gun for tier

+ Great gun depression (-12)

+ Decent mobility for size

- Big for a light tank

- No armor

- Horrible stock gun that even the tier II tank got to skip out on, AP shells can barely penetrate other polish tanks

- Lacking view range for a light tank, no upgrade (310m)

- Poor radio range (350m)

- Negligible upgrades save for gun, upgraded tracks have 5 less traverse than stock

- Sluggish for a light tank, plays more like a medium tank

Tier IV

+ Ok depression (-8)

+ Turns fast

+ Boforsa autoloader has potential, loses only ~10mm in penetration to the top gun but way better DPM

- Even bigger now

- Still no armor

- Again the same horrible tier II stock gun, but...

- Poor top gun that is barely workable with even premium rounds when compared to peers, struggles against higher tier tanks

- Lacking view range for a light tank (330m)

- Poor radio range, no upgrade from tier III (350m)

- Sluggish for a light tank, plays more like a medium tank

Tanks that I am yet to play, but initial thoughts based on model and stats...

Tier V

+ Good top gun, but Swedish get higher alpha 75mm gun at same tier (kinda silly since higher alpha was supposed to be "the thing" of Polish tanks)

+ Good gun depression (-10)

+ Adequate armor for tier V medium, has some trollish ricochet zones

+ Pretty much as mobile as the tier IV light tank, but higher top speed

- Poor radio range (430m)

- Inadequate stock gun with a long grind (track, turret and intermediate gun - which is something a tier IV tank would have, should be tier VI tank's stock gun instead)

- After researching the top gun, only then the tank line actually starts to turn playable

- Tall, large profile

To be continued...

The ONLY reason I have played the tier I and II is to get the kills for Expert Poland. That and to save a small amount of Free XP that I could otherwise use. It took me one game to research the second tank and FIVE to get any kill (the 4tp, thankfully). 3 wins from 5 battles. Then I played the tier II with an untrained crew as I am not wasting credits for a few battles.

I should get the tier III tomorrow, but then I will wait for discounts for the tier IV. No rush

About the Polish tech tree, tier 6 "medium" tank 40 TP:

Congratulations Wargaming, you just made the absolutely sh*ttiest and worst Tier 6 tank in WOT's history. This piece of cr*p 40TP (T*rdP*ss) is totally unplayable, specific power same as O-I Exp, accuracy and aimtime on par with KV-2 and armor is about as useful as in TOG 2. *edited*

Looking forward to tier 7.

Tier VI

- Sluggish acceleration

- 2.9 second aiming time

- bad bloom values

+ 240 damage

+ armor occasionally works (way more than other tier 6 mediums)

*edited* that's my Polish tank and new patch, new map feedback all in one. Anything inaccurate there? didn't think so.
