...taking a while to do the first one, 12k damage to meds- up to about 9k atm

Thing is, do i like the fact that its taking ages but am at least usually progressing with each passing battle...?

Certainly less stressful than Missions V1 BUT did that extra adrenalin rush you got when you knew you were close in 1 battle make them better ??

thoughts ? anyone give a crapabout M1 or M2 ??

The new missions feel very grindy, a little too much for my taste tbh. I also don't like that you lose your progress if you switch missions. I started one of the Bloc bounce missions, 2 I think, and now I'm stuck with playing heavys until it's done or don't progress when playing LTs or such.

I'm also curious how this works with secondary objectives. As in: If I completed a mission w/o honors and switch to another, can I do the secondaries later without re-doing the whole mission?

(Also, orders from the first missions not usable for the second although wg always claimed they will be compatible is a bummer...)

But in general I'm happy with the new campaign. More rewards to get are always welcome, and at least the Excalibur should be easy enough to get with the tanks I currently have

Best way to complete this first set of missions is to completely ignore they are there and just make sure to play a wide selection of vehicles until an excalibur magically appears in your garage. The next two sets will really test your sanity and resolve, so best to keep it relaxed for as long as possible.

Remember how much of a pain it was to cap? Yeah, they changed that to include defence as well.

This time the cap is back. And you have to do it trice

Make sure you complete the secondary mission. The x2 or x3 in some cases will help you alot. I discover this on mission 11 for the Germans. Did 35.000 dmg with arty in like 6-7 games thx to the x3 for the secondary mission.

I have got the strange feeling that WG (actually for the first time) really is gathering data from the new missions and how easy/hard they are to accomplish. If many people manage to get the Excalibur easily, WG turn the knobs and will make it harder for the next one.

If you do the secondaries. It goes 2x faster. I just did the 25K damage mission in 3 games with the Foch 155 for coalition. As the secondary was to get 2 kills. So when I did that. I got 2x damage added vs what I did. I had 5K damage and 2 kills. It added 10K to the main objective. Same with the spotting one. I've not done the secondary on half of them so far. As I do the main before I get the secondary.

Well. there is nothing wrong with monitoring missions. I remember in the first campaign it took ages and ages for WG to adjust the 'fire' missions while the whole community was ranting it was to RNG based. The problem ofcourse is that you got more active players playing / completing them first which perhaps isn't the best metric to go by.

I also kinda like the second set of missions is locked, this kinda prevents total diehards overplaying.

What i don't like (or think is kinda meh) that they are hardly 'missions', it's basically a grindfest. Only the secondary objective can perhaps be a bit challenging in some cases.

So far, I like the new missions, just like the first set of missions. WG imo actually did a really good job on these, people really want the reward tanks and bonuses, just like 3 years ago I suppose. Also good that they didn't copy-paste the missions but came with something new, although it now is due to grinding indeed. Has its pros and its cons since we all know how it felt when begging for malinovka or prokhorovka when trying to do lt-15. Or those 'fire' missions, etc. etc.

These missions take too much time.

WG is losing the players, and they are adding some grindy missions, which take ages to complete. For what ?

I like the grinding missions

its nice it + it complete its self......but like always people just staring blind on those missions...

And than we have the born after 2000 generation .....they dont have patience for anything...everything have to go there way and fast...if not they throw a tantrum.

Thank the parents for that,

Yeah sure, the get 15,000 spotting mission which you can do over any amount of time and in any vehicle class on any map is grindy but the previous mission set where you had to get x amount of spotting but could only do it in a light tank and had to hope for the right combination of map, stupid enemy and competent teammates was totally not a grind.

How do people this dense function in society?

The new missions are a joke not only that they feel super grindy but the secondarys are just lazy development just look at the first mision for jap and germen vechicels primery do 12k dmg secondary do 5x 3k dmg makes no sense.Wot dev team strikes again.
On the bright side atleast they are doable grindy but doable

You can do some in one go still if you get secondaries. As I did Union 14 in one go. But what's the difference between these that go across several games. And the one you try 10 games to get from the first set? Or those that will take even you more then 10+ games. As the next tank is one game only. And if you don't get the right maps, enemy tank setup vs the targets you need etc. It's better to get some, vs nothing for 10 games.

As let's be honest. Most of the missions from the first set were more luck than skill. At least here you go as you play regardless.

At least on the first tank to ease into it. As this way is easier for a majority of the players. As not everyone... is as good as others still to even get the Stug missions done fast.

I'm fairly certain if WG implemented a button you had to click that would instantly complete all the missions there would still be people whining that 'It's too hard' and 'Why do WG make us click the button ourselves that's so unfair' etc..

You can buy a button token. So WG does it for you.
