  1. Arty
  2. Balance
  3. Map deisgn (only on place three since Matchmaking can be avoided indirectly by just playing tier 9 and 10)
  4. Matchmaking
  5. Other gamemechanics (Gold ammo, spotting system, physics on rocks....)

What would you consider the most fun/joy breaking things in World of Tanks that could be fixed or changed?

I personally disgrace artilleries and will whine about it forever, it really just gets me off on any map. These replies with "just get cover", how are you supposed to take cover by 10-15 minutes in every game without being useless? I know it won't be removed or changed (in the near future?), I would love if it was but most likely a big nay nay.

Second joy/fun breaking subject, would be the matchmaking, not as big but for some tanks.. It's really a death sentence due to either their dpm, their penetration, et cetera.

Third joy/fun breaking subject, the spotting system. Sixth sense when on, I sometimes get fired on like 5 times and almost die and then 2-5 seconds later I get the notifications, and sometimes I don't get it at all..

Thank you for reading and please do reply, I do know I sound a bit whiny but I just can't stop having my games ruined from mainly these 3 subjects.

Ah so you want to win EVERY game and NEVER get hit and ALWAYS be invincible ?

Think you playing the wrong game......

It's arty... We all know it's arty... I went away for 18 months... Am really excited to be coming back.... But am already preparing myself to try and blank those games where you do nothing wrong but from nowhere a low skilled click comes together for the other team and turns a win to a loss.

I hate it almost as much if it goes the other way round and we win through a lucky click.

So unsatisfactory.

Arty and tanks are almost two completely separate games - yet in that thin area of overlap lies the most frustrating experiences you can have in the game.

There is just as much toxicity but now it's directed at the people who you are supposed to be collaborating with.  Starting a round as so many do with a few insults aimed at your team mates is hardly the way to encourage them to help or motivate them to win.  A bit of smack talk aimed at the enemy is all part of online gaming though.

Turning chat off was and is not the way to deal with toxicity.

Exactly this, I miss cross chat. My heart used to swell with pride when the enemy would call me hacker or aimbot.

I made a ramming Cromwell with the deep gun and used to get all kinds of abuse.it was a catalyst to play it more.

It made playing artillery far more enjoyable. The insults that flowed where so hilarious. Sky pig wishing all kinds of bad luck and illnesses on me and my family.

Also I used to do the classic ' this is my dad's account, how do I activate the machine guns' the enemy would be falling over themy selves to try to kill me.

Very rarely you'd get the odd compliment from an enemy which was also nice.

You can avoid arty without sitting behind a rock.  There are other ways to make yourself a difficult target.

If you are waiting for the 6th sense lightbulb to come on to warn you that you have been spotted then you are doing it wrong.

I have never been put into a battle with any tank where I didn't think there was something useful I could do.

When the fun stops, stop.

  1. Often basically all the time,  avoiding arty means being useless or putting yourself in worse positions.   Game from yesterday for example. Lost half my health to arty, having moved into a totally clear area of the map with no line of sight to any enemy.  Only viable alternative would have been to sit in front of the O-Ho I was flanking, in my M4 45.
  2. Agreed
  3. Agreed.  Game referenced in my sig, my platoon were the only two tier 6s on either team in a tier 8 battle, for example
  4. Agreed, hence I'm not playing so much these days :(

Spawning on Prokhorovka with a Churchill BP, or on Ensk with my Bulldog, being the -2 bottom tier.

Or watching 5 tanks in my team standing around on the base doing nothing else than rotating their turrets, pointing their guns at the team mates, 30 seconds after the countdown ran out...

Wargaming itself :/

Hard to argue with that. Just like it's kind of hard to ruin a game based on tanks are cool and go boom.

Then why'd you play 25k battles in said game?

Extending that argument, why have so many people played thousands of battles in said game these past years?

I didn't say I would win every match, I didn't say I would always be invisible. Don't just go on about ballschait bro. Of course there needs to be lost games, and of course even without artillery, with a changed matchmaking.. Honestly, your reply just made me think of how pathetic one person can be. Have a valid arguement or discussion please.

The game is practicality finished, and id dying fast. Stupid changes to MM, and inability to get premium viechles working, plus adding compleat and total bulshit lines like french hevies the entier polsih line that is sooo f-ing bad, you more stressed and depressed you want to uninstall the game.

I like that the game is expanding with more tanks and all, after all it is a world of tanks. It's not dying fast, premiums do work but some are just a tad bit too good cough defender

Being able to do things in situations like that are why people cam get more than 50% WR and more than 1k WN8...

If you're not good enough to win those, then fair enough, but don't complain about your lack of skill, blaming it on the game

Even when made by wargaming...but...and it seems it is this point you are missing...they are making a really botched job of it...compared to how great it COULD be.

Which is why a lot of us are salty and all "w(h)ine and dine" on forum...yet still play. But perhaps not any more "pay" from us to be expected...

#walletclosed and fix mm/3:5:7/maps and so on and so forth
