I've had a good run so, if I've lost interest I can't complain and will probably still play it though it doesn't appeal to me as much as it did for several reasons but I still like the game I guess though, I must admit I find myself starting to have more negative feelings towards wanting to log in and sit down to play a session and feel it's only a matter of when and not if I will encounter a battle or several battles in which I just don't really want any more of this experience.

Where are you guys at in terms of your feelings when you log in to play this game and sit down to a session? What are your expectations in terms of the fun or lack of fun during battles? Would you say it's going to be a fun experience or a negative experience or maybe both? Do you feel more inclined to play this game now than you did before or less inclined and what elements do you find are fun, working for this game and attract you back again and of course, what negative elements do you find most influential towards making you not want to bother to log in at times or even consider not bother to play ever again?

The thing i find less fun is the players, the standard of player has been dropping for a couple of years now, but lately it seams to have got really bad.

It's not the game that is "fun/not fun", it's yours perception of it.

The only real problem I find (besides the constant morons, seriously wtf) is the clearly rigged/biased/preplanned/selfaware/whatever map selection. It's true.

When trying for missions I've now played over 50 battles in lights over 2 days and never seen Malinovka and only seen Prokhorovka twice.

If that's not being made to work that way, I dont know what is.

I've also had Mal and Prok 6 times out of 20 battles in heavies.....

Yes it's less fun now because WG is ignoring the community and making terrible game decisions. They only care about how they can milk the remaining of the community. They don't care about fun. Dictatorships are never fun.

I find it less fun, but mainly due to the matchmaking and the 1.0 rework that made many maps I previously found fun, to be utter sh*tfests.

Im enjoying myself just as much or Perhaps even more these days.

All things considdered, MM, triple arty on open maps, more botlike players, WG treating its customers terrible etc etc etc.

I keep improving as a player, and i keep trying to set new goals for myself, to keep it fresh and fun.

Mostly when i login im neither positive nor negative, but play a few games and take it from there.

The only things that force me to take breaks, is when WG release broken tanks like the Obj 268 V4 pre-nerf.

Those times i get really salty and Play something else until they fix it.

I am at the stage where if the alternative is watching crap TV, WOT is still marginally more fun. But only marginally. A large part of me wishes it would hurry up and die, so I would have to get off my [edited]and find an alternative. Remember those heady days, when you'd do something memorable, and get a real buzz? That never happens to me now. I three marked a tank earlier, which for a player of my average ability should be a moment of triumph. Felt nothing but anticlimax. Alright so it was an easy tank to mark (G1r), but still.
For all its flaws, I think if I were coming into the game now I would love it. But as a veteran, I am more and more aware of the reasons not to play. There will inevitably come a tipping point.

Less fun, the changes have made the game worse instead of fun, and the only great game mode they released has disappeared, gg.

I am at almost the exact same point. I feel like i should be disengaging with WoTs now but keep playing purely out of habit. Its more familiarity than enjoyment. I've always played alot of tier 6 and tier 8 and those tiers have taken a real dive under the 3/5/7 template. I'm currently keeping track of the battles i play and tiers 6 & 8 can end up bottom upwards of 80% of the time. Its just not fun being out gunned and under powered the majority of the time.

Way less fun. But who cares while money is coming on the account.

Less fun for sure. My most played tiers before was tier 6 and tier 8 and they both got royally screwed by the new "improved" MM. I also hate being in a support role...and since the new "improved" MM I´m bottom tier 70-80% of the time depending on tier I play. This forces me to play a support role watching crayon drooling 45%ers throw game after game.

To sum it up: New MM removed what little enjoyment I had of the game. Arty removed the rest before that.

Still get a "buzz", best way I can describe it, when I play.

I think it's still good, don't concern myself with what others may see as negative aspects of the game.

Just activate a mission from the first campaign to kill 2 arties. all of a sudden all of your battles have either 1 or no arty at all.

Probably the most fun was being a total newbie racing around in a BT-2 running over chicken coops and dog kennels.

Otherwise the game is just as much fun as it ever was.  Especially in a play 4 fun platoon.

Less fun. Too many bad decisions, problems don't get fixed, new content isn't able to hide the fact that this game took a wrong direction years ago.

But still: Whenever I play, I have fun. Noone forces anyone to play every day. I play once a month or so and I still have my fun. Sometimes for 10 matches, sometimes for two. When I don't have fun anymore, I simply stop playing again.

less fun then before.

-mm screwed it up big time. I've had more fun playing against high tiers in a low tier light for example, then I do now with the mm template system, as I'm bottom tier too many times and getting too many fools playing the toptiers and just throwing the game for no reason.

-a lot more players in the battle that don't bother about playing at all, in comparison to the past, has taken away a lot of fun, as I lose a lot of good games, before getting a screwed double while those t@rds camping behind me, get all the damage for free, screwing both my double and fun, but also it feels like bad players get rewarded for it.

-too many broken tanks in the game

way less fun. for me the biggest reason is community, huge influx of bad players made the great game so less fun i can't enjoy in it anymore

Having less fun through the year but not because i don't like the game. Sure there are things i dislike but the experience is killing the game more for me than broken tanks.
