Not only remove it, as offer the XP equivalent in gold to players who unlocked it or played it... for the pain you have caused them

for allowing a terrible tank to be in the game for so long...

you have no mobility, you have no armor to stand even against similar tier tanks, you have no alpha damage to trade...

you have no gun depression to hide the tank...

You are just a very slow useless tank, that is too slow to get into the fight in time, that its useless vs higher tiers

and you don't even have a decent alpha damage gun to hit the enemies when opportunities came in...

You are poorly armored than some mediums... you have less alpha than most mediums (since 240.. became some how standard at tier VI)

Its just hell... i'm going to use gold to free exp it... because i really don't want to pass another 3 or 4 hours of torture trying to grind a tank i cant decently play because it doesn't even allow me to defend my self again'st anything...

If you have any decency remove it... drop the blackprince one tier... since it have at least armor and gun depression.. and introduce something else to tier VII, since you are so creative with new stuff, but please, remove the F! Churchill VII, its absurdly bad... you can't defend your self, you can't hide the tank or use the terrain because you have no gun depression... the poor alpha combined with poor mobility makes it useless,

As is Churchill I and Black Prince, but my opinion will remain the same:

Nerf tanks with 52+% Global wins, and after 3 months buff tanks 48-% Global wins.

I enjoyed it, and got my first Pools playing it... on a loss though.

It's not the tank - it's the faulty MM. It has bad reputation because people don't know how to "use it". Back in the day, when you actually had decent ratio of battles as bottom and top tier, Churchill VII was a pleasant grind. It was terrible when bottom tier but as top tier you could carry hard because of decent armour and DPM - especially after HD model which added some layers of spaced armour to cover your biggest weakspot (tracks).

In short: what you lost being bad in tier 8 battles, you could get back in tier 6 battles.

Unfortunately, MM for tier 6 tanks is horrible and you barely get any tier 6 battles. IMO MM should be fixed before we start buffing tanks, although a small RoF and top speed buff for all Churchill tanks (especially Black Prince because 150 alpha peashooter with the same DPM as 390 alpha guns is a bad joke) wouldn't hurt.

When your bottom tier like all heavy tanks it just becomes a huge, low mobility medium with no armour  and no firepower, but it's the same for all heavies, they only work when equal or top tier, put a matilda into a tier 6 game and it's garbage, play tier 4 and it's great, I like the Churchill VII as all my tanks are historical service vehicles, but I binned it in the end and bought a Churchill III to play Churchills as the VII was constantly bottom tier where it was just a sitting duck.

This fix the bl00dy MM, give people (like it was) the same amount of battles as top, mid and bottom tier.

Keep the gold and let me do the grind up to the Caernarvon. How about that? :)

It really is the tank. The tank has two hilarious frontal weakspots that as a bonus end up tracking you when hit. It was terrible from the get-go.

I think it's because most people panic and shoot its trollish-armored turret as it slowly creeps up from behind a ridgeline. :D

Ah, the british heavies... To prove you are worthy of the honor to man the British empire's mightiest war machines at tiers 8,9 and 10, you must first display courage, endurance and, most of all, the famous british stoicism during your mid tier grind!
Don't worry though, the feeling when you finally finish the horrible stock grind of the tier 8 is great! The worst is behind you and ahead are only great moments of high DPM permatrack trolling(tier 8), and the hulldown dream(tier 9,10).

I imagine that thats actually the tracks doing that rather than the armour, as its for not damaged blocked.

The armour itself is fairly mediocre. Track weakspot from the front, overmatchable turret roof and the angled upper plate on the hull is really weak.

Just give it a 25km/h top speed (It's silly that japanese superheavies which weight twice as much move faster than Church)

And give it the BP's 17-pdr gun. For balance, maybe give it a bit more aim time or idk. That should make it more competitive(Since KV-85 is running around with 170-175 pen this shouldn't be so much of a problem).

It's far from the worst HT on tier 6 IMO. It's not better in this meta vs when it came ofc. But I did several Stug and T28 HTC HT missions in it. Inc HT-12. It could do with a power to weight buff if anything tho.

But removing it? Nah, it's "meh" at worst for me. Not great, but not bad either. It gets the job done once it gets there.

it is the worse tier VI heavy, i can even argue its worse the TOG, because a TOG II with 1400 hit points, at least can use its huge xp to actually trade and stay in game longer...

The TOG II have gun depression and a fairly decent gun.... i would ratter play the TOG II then the Churchill VII

And for me the most annoying thing about the Churchill VII is the lack of gun depression... -4 degree's completely kills any attempt you might have of using the low profile of the tank combined with terrain to be smarter than the enemy and capitalize a good positioning.

the armor doesn't work on it self... there is no way anyone can play this tank and carry games unless you have extremely lucky with the mm and the enemies are terribly bad players....

And this shouldn't be the way the game works, every tank should be competitive to an extent, the churchil VII is not competitive on anything...

You don't collect any benefit from the tank being slow, only disadvantages...

Who ever defend this tank is not being serious and not doing a good contribution for the community, the Churchill must either drop a tier or be completely removed from the server

People also talk bad about the blackprince and the tier V, but the tier V didn't seem so bad, since it had 9 degree's of gun depression with some guns, the same for the blackprince... and the blackprince at least have 240mm of armor in the turret, i bet its still playable with the terrain...
