How about some critical analysis and some suggestions what and how to change everything?

PS: I voted both, because I can.

On the contrary.  RNG keeps the game alive.  It allows players to get the occasional kill against all odds which makes them feel good which keeps them playing.

This game has been around for about seven years and been immensely popular, including player accounts who have played tens of thousands of battles, indicating long-standing fans.

RNG has been a part of the game since launch, other than a change in accuracy distribution I don't actually recall any significant changes to the RNG aspects of the game.

In short, RNG can't be the thing that's killing the game because it's always been there, including when the game was soaring in popularity. There are plenty other changes you can blame, keep track of the forum, they get posted about a lot.

Only RNG I think should be reduced is penetration, it would go a long way to reduce gold spam as well.

I am ok with with 25 % RNG of damage rolls, but I think that RNG of penetration and accuracy/chance to hit, should be lower.

Give a reason that includes the high rolls and I may take you seriously.  As yet, in seven years,  no one has yet.

RNG on its own is not the biggest issue. WG brought along changes to dispersion which is basically an increase in RNG as well. I've noticed the amount of fully aimed shots dropping short has increased recently,  some shots are not even making it half the distance to the target.

To be fair, have not provlems with RNG, but decreasing damage RNG to +-10 and penetration RNG to +-5 would be welcome.

RNG is already on a bell curve, so for all intents and purposes, it's effectively 10% already.

RNG is a part of life.  In reality there is always dispersion and you rarely hit where you want (they're tanks not sniper rifles).

Whether a shell pens will always "depend".

What it does if it does pen will always be subject to luck.

RNG makes the game enjoyable.  It's bad enough that the unicorns hit and pen you as often as they do.  Can you imagine if their skill guaranteed a pen every time (no rng).

It would be as dull as furque.

Time for you to man up and accept it.

I think the real problem with RNG is the recent accuracy nerf. I like tanks with accurate guns and when fully aimed shots miss by far it kills all the fun for me. Standing still and waiting for a gun to fully aim is already a sacrifice and it should reward you, not punish you. It can bounce and I can live with that. But it's supposed to hit around where I aim. I really miss the old accuracy system. It didn't give me as much cancer.

25% RNG on penetration and damage, (1/4th!!) is way too much, 10% max on both would be best as it would make the game a lot more predictable yet still provide some interesting variation and appease to the WG line of "shells and armor of varying quality".

Conclusion: reward players that play good, instead of rewarding bad players for snapshotting you in the face from mid- to long range, while on the other hand missing your fully aimed shot on him. #makessense

Dealing with the possible effects of RNG is as much a part of the skill required to play this game well ans any of the others.

If you missed your shot wasn't fully aimed.

Nothing you wrote makes any sense. How exactly would you reward "playing good"?

RNG is designed to make the game more frustrating, it's in WG's interest for it to be as unfriendly as possible. "Ammo doesn't pen? Use gold! Accuracy is lacking? Buy prem food to compensate!" and so on.

As I said, I have no problem with RNG. IMO dispersion simulate well the factor that take a role in shell flying path.

I also know that RNG on damage and pen is mainly here to reduce skill influence, so unicums are "less unicums" and noob have a chance.

But at the same time I find annoying being outtraded by a lo alpha gun (like rolling a 580 damage in a 750 alpha gun against a 620 roll of a 590 alpha gun.

I like the game, hence I will allways adapt to the RNG magnitude, but this doesn't mean I shouldn't like to have a less influent RNG.
