For quite a while, I've been trying to improve my game play. The problems come when I play large and bulky tank, such as Type 5 Heavy, Jagdpanzer E 100, and so on....

I am usually dead or half dead on my way to battle, especially on open maps like campinovka.

Any suggestions?

You always just avoid tanks you cannot hurt.

Sounds like you are driving the wrong way.  Try a sharp left or right turn depending which end you start at and heading slightly away from the enemy instead of straight across the field.

Don´t play large, slow and stupid tanks?

reading the map is most imporant skill in this game.
Try to predict where enemies are going to be.

Take in account platoons, they usually go early for agressive positions.

Be aware who is platooning with arty.

read lineups, if you are bottom tier, you need to weight on which flank you are going to be more usefull, which tanks to help.

lineups are really important for your gamestyle in certain game.
i.e. when there is no scouts around, and i drive T44100, i usually go really agressive and spot, because that tank has fantastic camo, mobility (top speed is avg, but mobility overall) etc

if there are 3 scouts on each side, there is no point trying to that.

there is no real point in going frontally vs JGPZ or type5.
JG  you can pen with regular ammo, while type5 you need really good RNG with tierX guns...

just leave the flank. Or pull behind corner, wait for them to move.

It is not exact science, it is more intuitive stuff... More you play, you should get better.
