To all the collecters out there (I know, I know) in 4 years I've never seen this TD for sale.

It’s pretty much a Russian StuG

It was commonly available iirc. I think some people think they are buying the su-76i, which it isn't ofcourse. At least it looks cool.

£17 the cheapest?? Lol.   A friend used to have one.  Poor view range, not enough gun depression and has the SU-85B tier 4 gun.  Was ok when it used to face tier 3 tanks, now that's it doesn't and probably sees more tier 6 than it used to, it's not even worth the £8 it used to be sold for.  I dread to think what the accuracy is like on it now after the general accuracy nerf

Well, taht tanks is just older than your account, used to be available in the shop on a permanent basis. Was one of the first premiums to be removed in the big "cleanup" a few years ago.

Poor view range? For a tier 5 TD with a closed top it's rather good. It still has way more then any closed top tier 5 TD. As mine with binocs has 430. None of my other tier 5 TD's with binocs even get close to 390 unless they are open top like the Archer, that has 470. Yes it has the 119 pen gun from the tier 4 TD. So it has 25 pen less vs the tier 5 SU-85. But it never sees tier 7. So it has pref MM. And thus a great alpha and DPM combo vs any tier 5. As it has 400 more dpm then the 85. Tho mobility is worse off.

Is it worth that price? Depends. It lacks crew slots for high tier crew training. But it's still not a bad TD. I still enjoy it. It still has not beaten my Stug IV that holds the record for most non-turreted tier 5 damage with almost 3K. But it's on a good 2nd place still. But unless you are a collector, not really. There are better crew trainers for TD's on mid-tier. And better income machines. It's a fantastic bully support TD for a non derp. Even when it's alone it can do that well. So if you don't like that style. Then really no.

I must be remembering from before the TD VR nerf.  I seem to also remember the armour being not that good because of the angle and that tumour on the top.

I've had it for years and only play it now & again to feel special in my tank that nobody else has :girl:

Now everybody can get one again so mine will gather dust for another few years. :bajan:
