Restaurants but also those wurst stalls, I even tried one that looked suspiciously like a horse’s thingy. Oh and what’s going on with that whole putting a kebab in some sort of bun thing?

Oh, you mean that whole Döner Kebab thingy? Well, this is claimed to have been invented as fast food in Berlin. So, you have something like a Turkish Hamburger. Flat bread, salad, kabab meat, sauces, maybe some feta cheese. I like that stuff very much and even prefer a good Döner Kebab over stuff from MacDonald`s or BurgerKing. Well made ones are delicious, especially when made with some fresh parsley, coriander and mint leaves. Had huge success in Germany and is an well established food to go.

Sorry should have made that clearer, it’s the whole putting it in some sort of bun/bap instead of a pitta bread. Then again it seems more and more common to have them as a wrap (simple flat bread rolled up) in the UK which as far as I can tell is just a way of putting less of the expensive stuff in some cheap bread.

I am not sure if you can get that stuff outside Germany...

Found them (and a few other tasty looking items) at www.germandeli.co.uk

Think I'll be spending some money there - cheers for the intel :great:

I enjoy a nice robust Dutch mustard that I eat with every meal that has cruciferous vegetables.  Yes this is a PSA.  Cruciferous vegetables such as Brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli, and kale lose a naturally occurring enzyme which breaks down other compounds found in the vegetables into incredibly beneficial end products when cooked.  You can get this enzyme by eating a little of the vegetables raw, or eat a little mustard with the meal.

Also, a whine.  Worstershire sauce is cheap in Australia, and there are a few to choose from.  Here in NL it only comes in small bottles of Lea and Perkins :/

I must admit I enjoy a good hearty mustard - and Jabster is indeed correct, it goes really well with smoked bacon. Never really put it with veg but think I'll give it a try as I do eat a lot of broccoli & cabbage.

And there is only one Worcestershire Sauce sir and it is Lee & Perrins - the original & still the best:)

Considering some of the weird diet fads out there I can’t see anything wrong with the bacon diet.
