That's almost as funny as you not wanting to waste your money.

€50 for a bag of tat with a code for something in the game. There'll probably be some idiot who thinks they'll get a Defender from it and be stuck with a hoodie that doesn't fit and a Japanese Tiger.

Comes complete with WG's it's not a lootbox, honest guarantee that what you get is of greater value than what you spend, though value is a subjective measure in these cases because sticking a €40 price tag on a screen-printed hoodie isn't value in my book. Browsing through the shop and some of the hoodies sell for €60 ... I mean, I'm a WG fanboi but you've got to have your eyes painted on for that to look like good value.

You got a source for that? Because on the page I'm looking at (linked above) it says, "Each box contains 100€+ worth of World of Tanks loot" and that could mean anything from a model kit to personal reserves. Hell, it could be two hoodies and a t-shirt to be "worth" €100 from WG's perspective.

These mystery boxes are simply a way to offload stock that doesn't sell. Nobody wants that ugly sweatshirt design but we've got 200 in the warehouse? Sling 'em in a box and slap a mystery label on it, bundle with an in-game code for a tier 5 or 6 premium, job's a good 'un.

This basically every marketing team everywhere , put it in a tacky wicker basket, tie a ribbon on it and call it boutique.....

NO it does not say that.

It’s time to gear up for half the price with our World of Tanks Mystery box.
Each box contains 100€+ worth of World of Tanks loot. Don’t lose this target as limited numbers available.

When companies do deals of this sort, they offload the most unpopular items from the stock.

The buyer thinks he's getting a good deal, the seller offloads stock he couldn't otherwise get rid of.

I want me some of that tank shampoo, for that 'Just Been Derped' feeling. Because I'm worth it. :girl:

To sum it up in one word: Fluff.

That is what is in the "mystery" bag, as in it is a mystery why anyone would buy it not knowing what they get.
