It's been a premium on console for 2 years now or so. But this variant has better stats in some areas. And worse on others. As console more or less just took the old tier 5 and made it a tier 6 premium.

On console it's a tier 6 too. But there it has a 57mm with 112 pen & 0.35 dispersion. 560 HP and 550 engine power with 45 traverse on turret and tracks and a speed limit of 72, 390 m view range. And 45mm turret armor with 40 side and rear.

This has better pen and more HP, turret traverse and turret armor. But worse top speed, engine, dispersion, track traverse, view range and ROF. So I doubt it will be close to the old one. But I suspect most will still take it.

Doesn't look that good, pen and accuracy is terrible for a tier 6 with that little alpha damage.

I was very upset when they took my lovely T-50-2 away and gave me a nasty MT-25 to replace it

Surely if this tank returns we should get it returned to us if we owned it previously?

Yes I know.... WG.... fairness.... good ideas.... wont happen

Can someone explain to me why LT guns have to be so shafted?

Tbh... I would rather buy a premium MT-25 with the old mini 37mm. As this "new" T-50-2 looks terrible. I'm not even talking about the gun. As that's gonna be fine with auto aim at 20m flanking. I'm talking about all the speed I suspect it will bleed with that traverse etc vs other lights. I suspect this won't be as good as an active spotter as most hoped it would be.

You can also add the boring low top speed.

Sure, I asked why this vehicle was such a bother and 72km/h when the computer/server can't even render it right is a problem and I'm not saying all LTs should be go-karts. But speed, to me at least, is their main attraction.

Before 9.17 they had plenty of it. I don't understand why LTs need to have such hopeless guns: poor pen, poor DPS, poor DPM, poor accuracy: losing in pretty much all firepower deparments.

Explanation? WG and HT drivers.

Someone watched too many Deja Vu compilations and think mobility is overpowered.

I can actually imagine it becoming the 'arty complaint' of the less fortunate (that's PC lingo, right?) if LTs had 'proper' guns.

If it comes back as a premium then the original T-50-2 crew will be able to run out in it.

Because light tanks are a skill based class that good players can use to utterly wreck all other classes.

So naturally to protect the average hordes it needs to be ensured that light tanks are artificially held back to decrease their chances of doing so as much as possible.

Looking at the pic it doesn't look like t-50, so sad. More like polished MT-25.

Would have been fun prem, with 37mm pewpew and 72kph speed with adequate manouverability, now just meh.

:( reduced speed no longer 72kph.

Now tier 6 instead of tier 5,

Changed the guns a well by the looks of it used to have:

57mm Zis4

Alpha: 85

Pen: 112 AP / 189 APCR

DPM: 2,217 (250 less than the T-54, except you're in Tier V instead of IX)

Reload: 2.3 seconds, basically the intra-clip reload of an autoloader

Accuracy: .34m // Aimtime: 2.3 seconds
