Guys what is optimal equipment and crew skill priority please.

Running Vents, Stabs and Optics at the moment. Skill wise, all 3 starting with BIA. Not sure what next seen a lot running repairs as 2nd except commander with 6th sense, and a lot running with camo. Advice please.

I have vents, optics and vstab

Got 3 skills at the moment as I returned to the Bat AP from the tier 10.

BIA for all 3

Commander - 6th sense, repairs

Gunner - safe stowage (as getting hit in ammorack happens often), snap shot, then going for repairs

Driver - smooth ride, repairs

4th I'm taking full camo as it can be a good spotter as well.

This is going to cost you alot of gold.

(a) re-train from your current setup.

go sixth sense on commander, and camo on rest. Train repairs on all three. (repairs works at 1% all the way through to 100%, many other perks do not).

(b) once repairs at 100% re-train again.

Commander keeps sixth sense and camo. The other two take snap shoot and smooth ride on top of camo, begin training repairs again.

(c.) once repairs at 100% re-train again

Commander is sixth sense, camo and situational awareness (which is 3% as opposed to recon which is only 2%), I quite like deadeye on magazine tanks due to chance each shot to critical, but this is where personal preferences come into play. Driver maybe off road driving or fire fighting, if you put fire fighting on the gunner as well and get rid of AFE and run coffee consumerable. Fire fighting is now a little bit outdated as instead you can run Experienced fire fighting directive at two bonds per battle in it's place and choose a different perk. This is a matter of choice.

Begin training repairs again.

(d) once repairs at 100% re-train again.

Probably only worth putting BIA on all three at this point, and retrain repairs etc.

The combination of snap shoot and smooth ride perks cumulatively together are almost the equivalent bonus to a second vstab. As the bat chat gun handling is French this is the reason to prioritise those two perks.

Stabs, optics and vents is good.

Commander BIA,6th sense, Recon, (repairs as 4th)

Gunner BIA, snap shot, repairs (camo as 4th)

Driver BIA, clutch brake, smooth ride (repairs as 4th)

Thank you.

Remember most unicums will have crews with 3-5 perks already done. I put a girl crew in my bat chat and even I have a five perk crew in it.

I would not go for camo that quickly, as there are a lot of smaller maps and city maps, in which camo does nothing, while repairs, is a must-have on this tank.

Got 3 skills at the moment, best to use scout/support med play style? I try to use my speed at start of battle to get in some early spots then follow up as flank/rear damage dealer.

End game is where you can really shine. Conserve HP and pick of limp/solo targets and bully lights until the end when it is not uncommon to be able to take out 2/3 tanks within a single clip often swinging a tight game in your teams favour.

This approach will work particularly well when brawling heavies get locked down in a chokepoint.

don't you guys consider running strong coffee?

also camo is the priority skill of any small french tank.

I dont use food in general, consider it too much for my credit balance, have a fire extinguisher instead.

Yes, going full camo is an option certainly, not the best one in my opinion, though I am talking about BC 25, not the AP variant, I grinded through the then Lorr 40.

I always use food on tanks like this. Especially with auto-loaders it's best to use food because they lack dpm. It's also good for the gun handling.

stab/optics/vents or gld. I run gld because the gun can get on your nerves often. It's french...

6th/bia/camo - commander;

bia/camo/snapshot or repairs

bia/camo/smooth or repairs

personally, when I got to it, I already had 4 skills and 5 on the girl commander. So I had

6th/bia/camo/SA/started repairs - commander; bia/camo/snap/started repairs; bia/camo/smooth/started repairs.

being a paper tank, I'd put repairs as 4th. Because if you get shot a lot, you probably do something wrong('xcept when you catch someone in isolation). But this thing can get tracked and engine. So,kinda need repairs.

my experience with food says that, when I run food, I'm set on fire often. When I don't, I'm set on fire once every 50 games :P

I learned by hard experience, that I usually get set on fire while running food, when I show the backside of my tank, so you get hit in the fuel tanks. It's mostly not the engine that catches fire, so I mostly stopped using the "preventative maintenance"-perk.

yep, it's the fuel, not the engine; problem is you yolo, you circle, the camper sees your back...

didn't get set on fire from the front either

Engines don't set alight since WoTs' stone age.

Like this:

shot_070.jpg

Comm:   i see dead tankers > repairs > concealment > BiA > view range

Gunner: repairs > concealment > BiA > stab

Driver:   reparis > concealment > BiA > off-road > stab

U may skip BiA for a set of other 3 usefull skills, it's a valid trade.

Bat's terrible gun handling realy needs that coffee buff. Use firefighting instruction to help with being set ablaze and paranoia.

Engines do get set on fire. Best examples you get from the Germans....
