Not a massive fan of his music but I respected him as an artist.

I didn't know who he was, but you learn something new all the time.

A little off topic...I'm still confused by Chris Cornell's death

To be quite frank I've never really lamented the passing of any celebrity until Chris Cornell - a truly wonderful performer.

I had the honor of seeing him live with Soundgarden a few years ago. And yes, celebrity deaths usually don't affect me either. But his was one of few that did.

I'm jealous as I never got to see Soundgarden.

Audioslave tho, oh my!

This may be heresy to some but I preferred them to Rage:hiding:

I never got to see Audioslave as I was locked in my Military service the one time they came around here "2003". Soundgarden was 2013.

But I actually like Audioslave more then Rage too. Tho Prophets of Rage is coming to my neck of the woods soon. Something I do consider since it's still Tom Morello.

Would love to see Prophets, missed them at Download Festival last year but there is some SUPERB footage of them playing at, I think, RockAmRing.

They played Like A Stone with Serj Tankian on vocals - just superb.

Been to RockAmRing one year. That was insane. Saw Billy Talent there to name one. Would love to go back.
