Ok this is like an ongoing argument with me and my toon buddies (well some of them):D

Repair kits, I tend to go large if the vehicles is in any way fast or manoeuvrable, and definitely large it it is a super heavy, in fact all my heavies.

Small for lights and and arty.

Large med kits I don't use anymore, just the little ones for cuts and bruises

I am always at loggerheads with myself as to use food, fire extinguisher or 105 octane for the final consumable.

(That is the one I use on the Skorpion G, not the Lend lease oil I incorrectly quoted in another thread)

So what is best and what is it you pros all use?

I use small medkits and small repairkits, I used to also use normal fire extinguishers but recently I switched over to automatic ones on all of my tanks.

Automatic ones are just a bliss. it means you don't have to think what key to use while the whole kaboodle is happening

Large repair kit:

Block Quote

While equipped, passively adds 10% to crew's field-repair speed.

Large first aid kit:

Block Quote

While equipped, provides 15% passive resistance to crew injury from penetrating hits.

Automatic fire extinguisher:

Block Quote

Activates automatically 0.5 seconds after the tank catches fire and passively reduces the chance to catch fire by 10%.

So they do help but it depends on how much credits you have.

I go small whenever it is very cold outside...  :hiding:

Usually large kits on tanks I enjoy playing, and small kits on the others.

I use auto fire extinguisher and earn more of them than I use.

I did try large repair and medkit in light tanks but I was going through them at an alarming rate, just repairing tracks and healing 1 crew member.

I do find them useful on the Maus, E100, and Type 5 where losing multiple modules/crew is quite common.

Jokes aside - I use large repkits on all my lights. My tracks and engine have been taken out with a single shot numerous times, so I've learnt from my mistakes.

Large on all except arty, use small medkit, repair and food.

I use small repair kit and medkit plus manual FE. I use the premium consumable I have as money reserve, selling everything exceeding the 50 units (or 10 unit fpr food).

I've managed to collect 100's of large repair kits. So I use them.

I use large fire extinguisher on the tanks that are prone to catching fire with small rep kit and small med kit

For tanks that are not prone to catching fire, then it's small med kit, small repair kit and food.

Small repair/health kits on pretty much anything.

Too rarely have I the need to repair more than one module at the same time.

For fire extinguishers, I use small ones on the low tiers, and large ones on the mid/high tiers.

Rarely if ever use food.

Got Speed Governers on a few of my lowtier russian tanks in place of the fire extinguishers.

On a more serious note, I find that I usually have so many large kits and auto fire extinguishers from various missions and 50% sales, that it's difficult to use them all before the next free handout, so I tend to go large on all tanks that I play regularly. And yes, the auto extinguisher is definitely a big advantage over the manual one. But there again, I never use food or premium fuel, so that dilemma doesn't arise.

it all depends on the tank.

Tank likely gets ammo racked when tracked = large

doesn't = small

I only use small/cheap consumables, the expensive have no downsides though, besides being more expensive. Something with p2w
