When we invest certain amount of our time in the game (years, even...!), it's only natural that we spend some money, too, to pay the developers for their hard work. Some of us more, some of us less... Unless you don't find this offensive, intrusive, cheeky, or otherwise distasteful, please tell what your salary is. Why, you may wonder. Well, apart from the fact that the money that goes to WG treasury comes from both rich and poor parts of the world, maybe it should serve to show that not everyone, in every part of the world,  have the same salary, and therefore, does not deserve the same prices - maybe, or maybe not. But imagine this.

That kid in Moria who's spent all his life painting the nails of a cave troll in pink, his master's favourite colour, and whose dream is to finally get dat Lowe in WoT, has to pay the same price as Gandalf, who has just slain Balrog and was thinking like "what the heck, I just might get dat Lowe anyway, now I have nothing to do."

My monthly salary is 400 euros, and I feel that the Lowe should cost me a 5 eur, because obviously I''m an ingrateful [edited].

What's yours salary?

What's your outgoings?  I suspect if you earn 400 Euro a month then you don't have a mortgage, wife, and two kids with all the bills they bring.  If your Lowe should be 5 Euro mine should be 1.

I have a mortgage on the apartment that will vanish till 3035. (no, seriously) and a wife that continuously insists on vacations in Greece. I hold the Greeks in the highest regards possible and think of them as nicest people possible, but the heat, the mosquitoes, and the tourists from the same country as I am are simply unbearable.

Have no kids, though.

But I feel you, man, and I'm ready to up my Lowe price to 6 eur.

On 400 Euro a month?  Wow, my food bill is more than that, damn kids eating me out of house and home, and apparently you can't just not feed them!

1: not gonna tell you my salary cause: yeah I am not stupid enough to tell the internet that kind of information about me. :P

2: obviously all premium tanks are highly overpriced but WG isn't gonna go down with the price for everyone, that would be stupid cause they are making lots of money already, and neither are they gonna charge everyone differently cause that would be stupid too.

can you imagine the rage?

3: Lowe for 6 Euros sounds fair but as WG can charge 40 they bloody well will charge 40.

Well, on the other hand, no one will believe you on the internet in the first place...

But, to put it a bit more obscure, a Löwe will take me significantly less than two hours of work to pay for, however, I have to pay other bills first.

400€ a month is about what I pay on gas to get to and from work.

You should get with the times and swap your gas powered car for a petrol or diesel.

I make enough to play comfortably. And yes, prices in the shop are different from region to region.

More often than not prices in NA will be up to 20% higher than EU, not always just very often.

Gas is not only the US word for petrol, but actual gas is actually more in "the time" than either petrol and diesel to be honest, it's an more environmentally friendly alternative. However since petrol and diesel cost about the same here and gas stations can be tricky to find, I run with a hybrid, works great when you got a bit to drive each day, at least in terms of monthly fuel costs.

Enough to live comfortably and buy premium vehicles if I so please (or plenty of other things for that matter).

Then again, living comfortably is a whole lot easier if you don't  drink regularly, smoke, have a mobile phone, kids, or a motorised vehicle.

Also, isn't it taboo in some countries to talk about your salaries?

Now retired so state pension + private pension - no mortgage = happiness:)

But income is very subjective, to quote Charles Dickens...

Mr Micawber's famous, and oft-quoted, recipe for happiness: "Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen [pounds] nineteen [shillings] and six [pence], result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery.
