As I used to buy a lot premium tanks in the past, I'm now sitting on a heap of premium garbage that really doesn't cut it anymore in the game, which in theory should make me an ideal candidate for the trade-in programme. However:

  1. I own almost all of the tanks available in the ingame store anyway.
  2. Of the three new additions, I don't have the AMX or the STG, but neither of them seem particularly attractive to me. Wargaming makes a point to keep the really well-performing tanks such as the Lorraine out of the ingame shop.
  3. If I wanted the STG or the AMX - and I can see myself getting the AMX at some point - well, ever since the rip-off enjoyable Christmas event I've been sitting on more than 30k gold I have no use for, so I will probably use that gold instead.
  4. At any rate, I will freely admit that I probably even wouldn't use the trade-in programme even if some of the really hard hitting premium tanks were in it - the conditions are not that attractive, and besides, even if many of my premium tanks are more or less pointless these days, I still find it kind of hard to part with them. Silly me :sceptic:

My point is - much rather than giving us the option to trade-in old tanks, I would like to see them buffed to a point where they are actually competetive. I guess Wargaming's reason is that if they do that, people wouldn't feel the need to buy the shiny new ones. My reasoning is different, however - I have stopped buying Premium tanks exactly because many of those I bought have been power-creeped into oblivion - why buy any more Premium tanks when I know they're useless in a year anyway? If I felt assured the tanks I buy for good money actually remain competetive, I would seriously consider buying Premium tanks again. At the moment, though, that is not going to happen. Fool me once ...

A trade is (where i come from) i give you somthing, and you give me somthing in return.

It is NOT i give you somthing, and you say pay me money and then i will give you somting in return.

for example: I give you a orange chicken of 5 kg (i know its a big chicken and is orage, do they even exist?), and you give me a green cow back of 5 kg (yes its is smal and geen and does not exist)

To translate it in tanks: i give you a tier VIII heavy tank, and you give me back a tier 8 medium tank.

That is trading. The other one is ripping you off. better known as Russian-trade

It îs worth it to trade T34 for the buffed 112 ?
I grind the wz line but also the T57 heavy line but the crew on the T34 is already decent but kinda need crew for tier X Wz because I plan to get WZ and 113.

Does it worth it or is cheaper to just buy 112 when on sale in tech tree so that I also won’t lose T34 which I never play because is bad?

For chineese line best trailer is Type 64 - train 2-4 perks really fast and move crew to line that you want. I trained in this way 2x 5-perk crew for 5A and 113, 5-and 4- perk crew for light tanks and 2x 3-perk crew for meds and TDs.

Without "newer" tanks this whole thing is pretty much pointless, should have allowed T26E5 or Cent 5/1 and so on...

I traded my T28 HTC(yes it is badass in a city map scenario, but did not want to spend that much real money) for the M4 Revo. Best decision of my WoT life! Revo can still be badass damage dealer, it is fun to play.

Uh can only trade in one vehicle at a time!?

I wanted to melt down my IS2, Rudy and T-54 Mod 1 but if I can't put all 3 into one purchase then forget it.

Smells like a rip off anyway...

THIS!

  • You can trade in only vehicles that are of lower or equal Tier to the vehicle you are purchasing, but not below Tier VI
  • You can trade in only one vehicle per transaction

Why not let me bundle  multiple tanks I would like to get rid of as well as be allowed to trade in for lower tier tanks??

Plus, there is naught interesting to me to trade in my T-34-3 for (which I still suck in is still crap after the buffs).

The only viable trade in is a prem tank you got for free to count as a discount for a tank you actually wanted to buy. Anyone who trades in a bought vehicle gets ripped off and they're even excited about it.

Apparently they don't play their own game, then. If a posted middle finger gets them upset, the ubiquitous harassment and racism during matches should blow their minds.
Or perhaps they simply don't care about it as long as it is not there for everyone to see in the forum.

This is not fair and WG knows it.

WG people know very well that a lot of us want the possibility to trade our preferential MM premium Tanks (FCM50T) with other tanks like a Progetto (in my case) and WG knows that it is only a decent thing to let us customers have this trade in FREE of CHARGE, since it was WG that changed the MatchMaker and by doing so changed the "contract" we made when we bought these pref MM premium tanks.
