Personally I would say none, but that is just my opinion, had a couple of game where I took out my IS6, in one game my IS6 faced a 50 TP, I though my armour might have a chance at bouncing a few shots shot, nope, in another game,it didn't even fare well against a Cearn AX, which I had to admit did surprise me.

Last time I checked, it was Patriot or Defender.

One is not OP, the other one is, but we are not allowed that, lol

Currently the JgTig 8.8 is the most buffed tank and went from bottom to the top. I am considering purchasing it myself. Insane DPM for its tier, very accurate, well armored... And good camo values for its heaviness on top of that. You can brawl lower tiers when top tier and snipe from second line when bottom tier.

Just not sure if its noob friendly, because it is turretless and you can be flanked. But they buffed his traverse speed too.

Super Pershing is noob friendly tank and it is decent, but still a bit slowish, even after last speed buff. 13,5 hp/t would have been better than 12 hp/t, because its acceleration is still not that great.

Depends on your how you like to play. You'll be playing a premium tank a lot in order to grind credits and train crews so you want it to be one that you're happy to jump in battle after battle rather than one you'll dread taking out and you're only looking forward to the next trade-in.

You've asked about PMM tanks, even though they've recently been buffed I'd hesitate to recommend any of them, quite frankly. Tier 8 match-making is probably the worst in the game right now and PMM tanks seem to take the brunt of bad matches. It feels better right now, probably because so many people are trying out their old tanks with the buffs, but I'd want to hold off buying one until it settles down.

Of the ones I have, the Super Pershing is probably one of the better ones, the armour buff is good when facing same tier tanks and the extra pen makes a big difference. Mobility is still pish but it always was, that's the price you pay for the armour. FCM has the same gun-handling woes it always did but it's a bit more flexible, IS-6 I haven't played yet but I've heard the armour is much better, I liked the improvements to the T-34-3, it can now sometimes hit things while you're moving which is a big change.

What lines are you grinding? If you're going to train a crew while you grind credits, it helps to have a regular line to put them in.

Ok, I've now played a battle in the IS-6 and it's rather good. The armour's ok for deflecting same and higher tier shells and the gun feels a lot better, major improvement.

And a battle in the Spershing. I was lucky to get top tier in a 3/5/7 on Himmelsdorf and went for Banana Road under the castle ... I'd say it's borderline OP in that situation! :amazed:

The gun handling is excellent, the additional pen is great, the armour is fantastic, enough to prompt a couple of lower tier tanks facing me to load HE in the hope of doing some damage and a Caern AX to track me in the hope of getting away. Of course, you've got to make allowances for late night teams but in both cases the tanks are definitely staying in my garage and I'd certainly consider recommending them, which I hesitated to do earlier.

Hello,

My advice would be to perhaps try some of them on the test server, even though I am not sure when that goes online.

As for pmm vehicles, I have a big problem with heavy tanks, I am not sure why, probably since all the "skill" means being able to have better premium rounds than your opponent so you can pen him frontally. However, the IS-6 did look pretty good in the eyes of DezGames, when I watched his games after the buff.

I can only recommend you try either the super Pershing (if you can accept the fact that it's not a fast tank by any means, even though it has just become faster), or the T-34-3, which now has more gun depression, accuracy and gun dispersion on the move.

I for one prefer the flexibility/camouflage side of this game, so I'd go for T-34-3. It has workable armor too, and the gun is nice, in the way that you can deal big hits when you hit, and also overmatch some nasty tanks (I see you STRVS1/103-0).

It's up to you now, try to also thing what crew trainer you'd like to have.

I'd just stay away from the big box which is the JagdTiger 8.8, unless you really like being spotted from afar in your tank destroyers.

112 already had very good armor, premium-round-penetration, mobility and 6 degrees of gun-depression (enough to hide weak-spots) but laked in "gun-handling aspects"...

now it got buffed in rate of fire, accuracy, penetration, aiming time. - all the things it was very bad before. with the new buffs, the 112 is in my opinion the most comfortable pref mm tank to play. #noobfriendly

I liked the 112 allot even before the buff, personally for me 112 is better then the IS-6. Well i should say buy a (pref mm) tank that you want to train your crew with. There is not a big use buying (example) 112 when you have no crew to train in it, only for making credz.

Same here. I took my 112 for a spin yesterday and couldn't notice the buffs at all. But since it was ok even before...

Yeh 112 is better than IS6, armour is better, mobility is better, view range is better and the premium round works better against higher tiers.

I'd say the 112 is borderline OP with it's armour model alone.

Posted Image

That is it angled against the Leopard 1's gun with 268mm of penetration. You also have -6 degrees of gun depression to further increase that armour and get it hull down.

If they fix the MM and that thing starts seeing more tier 6s and 7s then it will be OP.

The other really good on is the Type 59.

Super Pershing is much better now, but it's still pretty slow and the armour is still very random, sometimes people don't aim and pen you everytime, other times people can barely pen you.
