No, they won't. They'll patch everything else quite openly and over time your premium purchase won't be quite as strong as it once was and you'll only keep it hanging around your garage in the hope of a future buff.

in other words you prem tank you bought 2 years ago will be much weaker than it was prior
01:45 Added after 4 minutes

considering all prem tanks mostly are 30 bucks + and the average new game to buy is 30 bucks ? it is of my honest opinion Wargaming are making a  mistake  in greed , or am i wrong ?

My Super pershing 2 years ago was a menace now its a pussy, tell me nothing has changed ?

Yeah get of your horse and drink yer milk, literaly !

Let me make this clear...

There is no fecking way i am gonna trade in a premium tank for another primium tank at a reduced cost then to see it get stealthed nerfed over time, so yeah wargaming can suck my cheesy nuts to be quite honest !

just keep feeding the cash cow if that floats yer boat, but here " wallet is shut ", have a nice day x

Nope, it'll be exactly as it was on the day you bought it. Everything else will be stronger, that's the difference.

Yes, it's changed considerably after the buff in the 1.2 patch and now it's rather nice to play. You should try it, maybe before you use it as your example of power-creep.

If i was a decent company that looked after my customers i would let those guys that already paid 30+ euros change thier tank for free ! but we are talking greed so hence why most players see with eyes open now !

So half the original price is harsh, would 70-80% of the original price work for you?

No! this whole charade is complete piss take, at least let us trade in 2 tanks for one new one, instead of us having to shell out more money when i have already spent thousands, and i draw the line at spending any more period ! this makes me so fecking mad, it makes me wanna quit this game and never buy anything WG ever again , fecking milking cows !

If you were running that company, it'd go out of business pretty quickly.

Look, I understand your point and I sympathise but as you've already pointed out, premium tanks cost a lot of money so it's up to you to decide whether what you get is going to be worth it and for how long it'll be worth it. The power-creep is real and can be immensely frustrating when you thought you were getting a keeper that becomes a stinker 6 months later but tanks do get buffed, as the most recent patch shows. It'd be great if that happened a bit more often, certainly.

Yes, I'm ok with it. Sure, I'd like it if it was more in our favour but it's a whole lot better than the old system of your only option being to sell the tank for credits or leave it taking up a slot. I've used the trade-in a few times and if the right tank came up, I'd have no hesitation using it again because I'd rather have a tank I'm going to play than a useless garage ornament.

Besides, last time I traded in a tank I'd gotten for free in a marathon so it effectively gave me a brand new premium with a 50% discount, which I was more than happy with.

Agreed, that would be a great proposal and I'd back it all the way. The only issue is that it'd mean no new money for WG and once the cashflow takes a hit, most businesses look at what they can do to stop it. There's got to be a balance between treating customers right and running an effective business - I'm not claiming that WG have nailed it but it's also not in a position where I'd rather walk away.

To be honest i would be more worried about the fleas of a thousand camels infesting their souls than their cashflow.

So you'd prefer the game to die if you get your way? Seems rather selfish and particularly childish but hey, you do you, champ.
