This tank is a Panzer but from Switzerland – and it brings the versatility of a Swiss knife with it!

Can someone please help me to understand the Logic WG has?

They have many tanks that don't go in tier 10, what do they do to them? They buff them. More HP, more speed in gun realoading or aiming time AND they never see tier 10. This Mutz or other similar tanks like Panther 8.8 ate TOTAL useless in tier 10 matches and do not get any buffs.

FCM much better than this or Panther 8.8 and never will see tier 10 matches.

I don't get this, I have no idea what small brains at the top of WG are not understanding this.

This Mutz, Panther 8.8, M46 KR, AMC CDC, T54 Proto, 59 Patton and STA-2 should NEVER EVER see tier 10 matches. How can WG stupid Logic make sense of M46 KR to be in tier 10 with 192 pen but FCM can't with more penetration?

I'm out of ideas how to make sense of this WG company. Totally out of this world, totally.

Maybe Aliens are doing the thinking.

Just an mediocre tank that work at support tank at mid range, at long range is bad and it's accuracy need to be improved. In tier x  can't do too much. M4 REv is better but none of these tank are for new players or bad players.

A very mediocre tank at best, it does have reasonable maneuverability, depression, okay penetration but the slow aim time, crappy gun handling which is just as derpy as the (tier X Grille) you will shoot dirt often on fully aimed shots, the so so camo, and no effective armor make this tank a pass.  If anything tells the story better VBaddict has it at a global win rate of 47% .

This was my first tier 8 premium tank, back when it was released. It was decent then, now it is mediocre at best.

And considering the state of the matchmaker, I would not suggest anyone to buy a tier 8 premium tank right now. Not fun being bottom tier all the time. Even more so in a crappy tank.

8 replies so far, out of which ZERO are positive. I love you, guys, please keep it up!

And yeah, pretty much what they all just said. Wake the Foch up, WG.

Mutz

Pros: mobility, view range - I usually do far more assist/spotting than actual because...

Cons: The 9cm trollkanone - you want to take out bits of scenery, large chunks of earth, and deal massive damage to the sky? That's the gun for you... second only the Patriot's potato launcher in it's ability to spaz shots all over the place and rarely pen things it should by rights go clean through.

Buy it for the rarity, play for the irony.

Avoid.

Good for spotting, good cammo for medium and the gun is ok - 212 pen and 240 pen

Mobility is good

Plays alot like AMX CDC

I will ask again, why should people buy any of the generic paper 90mm mediums when the Progetto is a thing? Why have speed, no armor and either derp gun handling or bad pen when you can have speed, no armor and the most flexible support gun in the game?
Because, you know what pops up when i check the single-shot 90mm premium meds in Vbaddict?
1 place: T-44-100(53.17% wins) ( Speed, superb gun handling and some armor works on a med! Who would have thought?)
2 place:  Progetto(51.42% wins) ( Depending on the situation it can be the generic 240 alpha support med, a lite version of Skorpion G or a 750 alpha TD, and you know what is the guiding principle of each medium tank design? VERSATILITY! The Progetto has it, and so it does fine!)
3 place: FV4202(51.35% wins) (This tank came long way since its release, and it is a good example what you should do WG, the FV was slow, poor dpm, unarmored and with derpy gun when it came out and now, after numerous buffs it is one of the finer mediums out there capable of holding its own.)

So that are the leaders, what about the bottom of the list:
The highest ranking unarmored 90mm single shot med is the T25 Pilot, which if i remember correctly most people got with missions, thus it is played by relatively skilled players and still it sits at 49.18% win rate, then on places 18 to 23 out of all 23 tier 8 premium meds we have:
18. AMX CDC-47.36%
19. Patton KR-47.18%

20. STA-2-47.17%

21. Mutz-46.98%(the black version is placed 17th, but with only 2k game data set)

22. 59-Patton-45.85%

23. Panther 88-43.34%!!!( Yes, 15k games on record and that is the avg win rate of the panther... If a tank had 57% win rate it would be considered OP as hell, but 43% is apparently a fine, well balanced tank for WG)

Do you see the pattern WG? Those tanks are solid bottom of the list because they have nothing to offer! Higher on the list we have tanks that have at least one special feature to them, be that a big alpha gun, good armor or autoloader, but the 90mm meds on the bottom have nothing!  So please, be kind enough to give those tanks the FV4202 treatment and actually make them worthy choices if someone wants a fun support med.

Type 59 is now pretty much the best non-autoloader tier8 medium, and with mobility buff its now more like a fast hulldown heavy. Well and when you get into tier6 MM you can play it like complete idiot against that lower tiers and rekt them, while with things like Mutz, the cromwells with pen you (Mutz turret can sometimes troll, but not very often). It's not the worst tier8 med, but from generic 90mm singleshot gun paper meds, STA-2 is probably best.
