Why do you think it's nice?
This is really no different than when they used to offer premium ammo at discounts of 30-50%. Now your getting roughly the same thing but just using a different mechanism.
How about they just change the profitability of tier 10 instead! And why cant this just be applied during the battle itself.
It's nice to know they see a problem, but sad to see that it's only going to be addressed for "Clan Wars".

Indeed, the profitability of tier 10 (and 9 if you play without premium account) is just too low. What WG is doing is not adressing the problem but solving a symptom. Gold ammo is in this case also to blame, so you have two main issues:gold ammo and credit profibilaty. Third and last big issue (3-5-7 MM) is "solved" by it being tier X only. WG are u listening? We want same tier battles (like in Frontline) or -1/+1 max!

Tier 10 profitability does not need changing. It's supposed to be part of the end game and their business model is for it to attract people to purchase premium time and tanks. The game is F2P and there is 7 tiers you can easily play with a F2P account and 2 tiers you can play fairly easily, with some limitations. That is already well enough for a free game. To think this objectively you can understand the business model of WG and why tier 10 is not profitable to play at. So stop whining and stay on lower tiers if you can't afford to play on higher tiers.

I understand the business model of WG and I understand they need to make money off the playerbase as a whole. They could make more money if they listen to us once in a while. You consider my post as whining, it was not meant to. You have good points there and I respect that.
I have to get gud to increase my income per battle or drop down tiers (incoming rant: yes probably a lot of tiers) or accept a loss.

If Tier 10 profitability is not a problem.
Why are they offering clans a 30% refund on the "loss"?
I am generally happy with tier 10 profitability, I am not great but it doesn't cost me a fortune. The thing is, that when they run events like this then it's WG who are stating there is a problem, not me. So I am pointing out their failed logic.
Or would you like them to bring back in discounted gold ammo?
