No I am not converting to any religion, certainly anytime soon lol, but really, if province got the tier limitations for the map then why can Ensk still be allowed to be high tiered map.

 

It is simply too small, and as boring as hell, out of any map this seriously needs some re working, not only that it should be up to tier 6 only, it just feels claustrophobic at any other tier.

Personally, I'd limit it to Tier III

Tho great when you play the T95 or Type 5 as it's fast getting to the HT lane vs a 4 min drive like on the old Highway if you started south and had to go up hill. It's indeed terrible on high tiers as most games on the 2 lane are 5 superheavies all fighting to use one narrow corridor 100% ignoring the 1 and 3 lane. So they tend to lose vs fewer guns as they only use 1 gun at the time, as they have no room to move or push staying there. 

 

They even removed it from low tiers back when mittengard or what ever it was called came. IMO it's perfect as a tier II to VI map. VII might work at times. But VIII + is not ideal.

I don't find Ensk a problem although the arty spawn points need to be changed.

 

Maybe because it's been in the game for so long and has always been there for high tiers.

I noticed they have made changes to the map recently. Is it for the better or the worse?

Nope, there are no changes on this map.

The map is not that bad, i would rather see removed this new chinese map (Empire Border i think), that map is a lemming train corridor yolo push. No positions for crossfires, no line of sight for paper td's, nothing to spot, nowhere to shoot with arty. You just go yolo push all team on one side and that is all....

There is an L (LT position) marked on the D4/5 north of the square. Previously you been able to take position there, but the last time I was on Ensk there were piles of rubble blocking that spot.

That rubble depends on the gamemode you are playing.

On standard you get no rubble, on encounter you do.

Sometimes qpranger "likes" can be confusing.  I'd assume this is a genuine like rather than an ironic one?

Are you kidding me, Empire borders is way better than Ensk, Ensk is on par with Province and Widepark, utter crap maps.

This is exactly why WG introduce so many corridor maps in this game, because they are noob friendly (no offense).

What can i say if you prefer corridor maps that leaves you the only choice to go and fight face to face, over maps that allows some spotting and crossfire positions....

Qpranger "likes" have become a meme.  No greater compliment/insult than a Qpranger like - just not always clear which it is :)

Your choices just covered all the map :)

See, you have many options on that map:

-you can snipe on line 1 if you are a armored TD

- you can sit at the hull down positions in the middle

- you can go fight on line 2-4 if you are in a 'brawler tank'

- you can spot on the rails at the beginning if you are light/med, and after that go shoot the side of tanks from city

- you can go on green side, if you know how to play you you can shoot from many angles instead of 'getting shot from every angle'

 

Indeed that map sucks for arty, but who cares about arty.

 

On the other side Empire Border sucks for arty, unarmored td's, unarmored meds and for all lights.....

You just follow the lemming train and fight head to head, no tactics required, no brain required.

Love it when 3 arty per team spawn on Ensk, and I happen to be one of them! :D

 

Love it when I go to one side and that side falls within 2 minutes! :D

 

Love it when I get oneshot while crossing the railroad! :D

With arty on that map a lot of times you get spotted and shot in the first minute, or you survive and you can't shoot crap because everyone is in the city....

 

I agree that the map is maybe too small, but is not a bad map. If WG would make it a little bigger i think it would be great.
