So following the herd, I did buy the Object 252u, nice tank, sexy curves, decent alpha yadda, yadda, yadda,.

But stat % wise, it seems like my trusty Maurbrecher is beating this OP beastie, how can this be possible seeing as the hue and cry about said Object deemed it would be the one tank blitzkreig of the battle field.

Out done by the mighty German, something seems amiss?

Where exactly do you see the big difference? And do you really want people to state the obvious?
You are playing both of them at botlevel with just barely one damaging shot per match. Play some more matches in the Obj and even you might improve a bit, but to make it work properly, you need to hit the right buttons. OP tanks aren't immortal, when you just rush into the enemy lines, you'll get killed in no time, too.

You need to learn the basics of using your armour to stay alive. Even if you're the worst shot in the world you can still be useful drawing fire in the 252.

You're one case. Statistically amongst entire playerbase defender has higher winratio.

And friend you need to put some effort into your gameplay, you might be having fun now but if you improve you will probably have more fun.

Easier said than done, what do you think i am trying to do, (focus on the trying) I do everything everyone has ever taught me, nothing works, maybe if I get in a good toon.

Learn the armour Nooby. At least those 2 tanks will allow you to survive a longer than most to learn a bit. Don't just jump into the next battle  - take time to see what went wrong and where.

Did you bounce a shot? think why and how it worked for you. And stop feeling you have to lead the charge everywhere lol

A Bob.

I was trying to write a comment that doesn't sound rude, but couldn't find a way to do it.

Thus I say nothing at all.

When the other players see your Defender on the team, they relax because its so supposedly OP. When they see you've brought the wall-breaker, they play harder because they know you'll need to be carried as it's so compromised for a super-heavy.

Your ability (or lack of) is next to irrelevant, it's how the other 14 players perform that's giving you the different win rates.

In my case, when they see my Defender the team would go like this: :great:

Then someone using XVM checks my stats: :sceptic:

Then the rest of the team are quick to catch on:

There's no need to check my stats, it's usually pretty clear that I can't play heavies from the moment the countdown ends.

I doubt that anyone told you to keep playing the tanks that require a basic understanding of the game when you don't have any of it and to simply play like before.

You aren't even trying.

Dear Nooby

The explanation =

Maubrecher forward speed 20 kmh

Object 252U forward speed 35 kmh

You get into trouble faster, without allied support in the Object 252U. Whilst the Maubrecher is so slow, that you have allies nearby by the time you reach the battle.

Hints:

1. As well as watching the red dispositions on the map, look at the green ones.

2. Ask your self if the green blobs on the minimap have firing range, and angles to support your heavy if you are attacked?

3. When looking at red blobs on the map, if you expose your heavy to trade with a nearby enemy heavy, will you also be subject to fire from other reds, who might not be immediately close by, but can still get a shot in. (this the classic do not play with blinkers so that you are only aware of what is immeidately infront of you). Have a more strategic view of the map.

4. Do not trade with an enemy heavy when you will lose more of your health.

5. Be patient to time your exchanges.

6. Make your minimap larger. Use the + key to increase the size.

Good Luck
