Believe me when i say, the SU-130P hasnt got a real advantage, yes it is flatter but it is also longer... So if u are shooting from its side, its a very easy and juicy target to hit.

thanks for the first-hand review ;). can't wait to drive/shoot one myself. But I still think that a (spotted) Skorpion has to reveal more of itself to participate in the fight.

PS: Nothing is as juicy as the side/rear armour of a TD, so that doesn't say much ;).

Mobility on SU is a lie! Max 50..and they dont have horse power...need long time to get speed...mpst time you drive just 35-45max kmph

I was first man who get ace tanker on EU with SU...tank is good...but mobilty is lie from WG...total slowly tank

Very true. The hp/t allows higher speeds only going down slopes, but whenever it needs to climb it's a pain. Even on flat terrain it will never come close to it's top speed, while Skorpion G will. Much more responsive in that segment.

Camowise though, SU rocks, while skorpion sux

I didn't try the SU-130PM yet but I am quite interested to see what do you guys think? Do you think on a 1vs1 situation which one would be the winner?

Still working towards this tank but my prediction is that a lot of people who don't get it will be complaining later on.

Is the Skorpion better I don't know Ill let you know later.

Right now I am thinking tanks with no armour need speed or stealth.

My RHM Borsig has extremely good camo which enables it to avoid damage a lot of the time but its not going to win any races.

The Skorpion gets spotted frequently and has to be played differently, luckily its pretty mobile.

This new Russian TD has better mobility than the Borsig and while its camo isn't as good it is still pretty decent, a bit like the Tier 9 German TDs

Ok it doesn't have a 360 turret but TD turrets move pretty slowly even the 360 turret on the Skorpion will not prevent you being circled to death.

Like it matters which tank is better... In the end all Russian tanks get buffs and all German tamks nerfs. So end next year, everyone wants a Su-130M - or the then newly released OP vehicle that does 750 alpha with the same reload speed and with Defender level of armor.

They may buff the SU so it performs better and who knows by next year is a OP TD that all want, but for now, i see more disavantages in combat then the Skorpion has, this taken from the fact i own a Skorpion so i do know what it can do, and from the fact i already have several of these SU fall victim of my tanks in combat.

The SU may have better camo, lower profile, but it has some important drawbacks in combat that need to be taken into account, first off the arc in wich the cannon can turn, despite the Skorpions 360 turret takes forever to turn u still got a chance when a HT or a MT gets on your side to do something, as with the SU as soon as someone starts to turn around u, ur dead, u cant turn the gun enough to in conjuction with the tanks own rotation to be able to shoot the enemy as with the Skorpion u still can do this, as LT goes, no matter, if u are in a TD and he gets on your side, ur toasted anyway, unless u are up against a wall or hill and can keep ur "arse" out of the sight of its gun.

Movement wise, i had a SU in my team i was in my skorpion we both started same spot, we both went for same position in map, i got there way quicker them him and also we had to climb a little to get there, i totally left him in the dust. And there we had a LT trying to flank us and we both had to turn the tank to be able to aim at him and Skorpion turned shooted and he was still turning...

If i had to say... I would compare the Skorpion more to a MT... And the SU to a arty...

My bottom line is this comparison is dumb, and also this new tank is over hyped!

There's one difference: the Maus was buffed too much and got some nerfs again in one update later. Russian tanks like the defender however will stay OP way longer.

But oh well, it doesn't matter anyways, WG will go it's own direction regardless of what players do say. I can remember we had the times you had to aim for the bar on top of the E100 turret, and still it wasn't OP at that moment. It was fun and engaging, you had to know weakspots, but also stand a chance to bounce a shell in return. But no, WG made the game a premium ammo meta with corridor maps.... Hooray..... Now we have an 60TP which can do everything the old E100 could do, but faster. The original tanks can't do anything in return however, as an E100 turret is one big, flat, meaty HP pool if you press '2'. Thanks WG..... #*editPremiumAmmo

Gee Einstein, obviously the soviet crap bcz it's soviet, obviously. Nothing beats Mother Russia creations.

Germans never knew what camo means so the poor Skorpion would be spotted first , resulting in massive dmg from the HE used bcz the soviet garbage has a massive gun advantage of 2 mm and consequently alpha. I bet half the crew is dead therefore the dpm advantage would be gone even with Jesus resurrecting one poor german soul.  Do i need to continue?

I can imagine the meeting in Minsk few months ago:

- Comrads, the most played tank in the game is Skorpion G. How about if we put in the game a new soviet primium, better than Skoprion G. We would make so much money as all those *edit would buy it immediately.....  Get to work, DA?

It would be a draw; both TDs will drive 2 meters from their spawn circle and then sit there the entire game waiting for the other one to do something. :teethhappy:

Spoiler

Tbh, I would rather buy another Scorpion without special camo than some russian TD without fully rotationally turret, so I should have 2 scorpions - first one for tryhard gameplay and the other one for credit making.

The e100 is a capable tank with its own play style just like the 60TP, which if you've played is penned far more frequently than you realise.

Nope, there are multiple things you can use your tank for, more than just doing damage, if you want to do damage, yes HEAT is helpful but is not your one and only course of action to help reduce enemy HP pools.

I've got about 1000 games in the Skorp on NA and the SU seems to be slightly better overall.  The choice between the two will mostly just depend on your preferred play style.

Useless debate. The true topic is do we need another premium fantasy tank in the game? No.

We need better mm, premium ammo resolved, a solution to arty etc.

premium ammo :D its not gold ammo :D if you can buy it for silver :)
