At least they got most of it right. Could have been "Xmas" which doesn't make any sense what so ever. How do one make X out of Christ? X also stands for the devil so it's quite the opposite as well. :harp:

I'm Swedish though so I have the good old Jul.

The surprise is that you can go back to last year's books and complete them to get last years camo's.

Must admit I bought a bunch of boxes to complete those, so I'm a little torn on this. But water under the bridge and all that.

I enjoyed this very much last year and I enjoyed Front lines too.......please bring it back to escape the horrors of tier 8 MM.

I even bought a few loot crates after following QBs videos........and got burned badly.....ouch. More fool me.

Merry Christmas tankers.

I want WG devs to concentrate on the more pressing issues in the game, not getting sidetracked for days if not weeks on coding in something which is ultimately trivial compared to the other issues.

You do realise that we already have beneficial male crew members in the game, right? You get them when you buy packages such as Cromwell B or Tiger 131. These are the exact same type of crew as female crew members, the only difference is that they're male instead. So this is already implemented. The only thing they need to do is to add a drop-down box in the crew recruitment window where players can pick the gender. You're overcomplicating this problem massively.

Behind door n° 1 : I want my crew to be the Guardians Of The Galaxy... (or something similar) ....

Behind door n° 2 : I want my crew to be furries

Really? You compare this with completely unrealistic characters? We already have male and female crew members in the game. Do you see any Guardians Of The Galaxy or furries in the game right now? No! And that's why your example is outright stupid. It's even annoying. This is not about adding "new characters" to the game, it's about giving players a choice between the "characters" already added.

Behind door n° 3 : I want my crews to be gender neutral and carry gender-neutral names, and certainly not to be addressed as he/she....

You're manufacturing poor excuses that are not even relevant. Actually, your arguments would make more sense in the context of removing female crew members completely from the game, which I've not asked for. It seems you've completely missed the fact that we already have male and female crew members in the game. The only different is that I want players to be able to decide which on of these 2 they want personally. That's a good change, not a bad one.

you don't want to get dragged into endless issues because of a seemingly innocent change that allows "choice".

What issues??? You mention issues but can't even state exactly what issues this corresponds to. Everything you're written so far are just pathetic excuses, because for some reason it would hurt you personally if each player could customize their own gaming experience.

but in this case it should go at the bottom of the priorities list.

First of all, just because you don't find it an important issue, doesn't mean that no one else does either. Secondly, if you didn't know, GUI designers doesn't work with balancing, maps etc.

View PostRock_n_Rollie, on 07 December 2018 - 10:11 AM, said:

i will personally campaign for the "choice" to have all my crew members named after (and have "avatar/headshots" pictures of) famous attack helicopters......

You still don't get the difference, do you? You want to add new "types" of crew members into the game, I don't want them to add anything new, I just want them to allow players to decide what they want their own game experience to look and hear like. That's a big difference. So you can drop your silly comparisons.

Nice to see this successful event is comming back.

I hope we have repeatable missions this year again. Last year there was just a specific amount of daily and weekly missions what just allowed you to collect a imited number of decorations in the whole event. In 2016 there was a repeatable mission that rewarded you with a small box for the first victory with any of your vehicles which was reset daily. That was nice and a cool motivation to play a bit longer every day. You could aslo increase the requirements and add a repeatable mission what requires a battle hero or epic meda to get a small decoration.

Also I think the  4 different bonus are not balanced. +50% Credits is much better than +50% Free-XP. Next year you should balance out the categories.

The categories are fine!

U choose to go for what u feel its the one u want 1st and if u got time and want it u can go for others. Myself im more than happy to concentrate on crew training 1st.

Its a very good event, loved it last xmas, got some nice crews of just girls cause of it and all the goodies they gave us over the year, my Skorpion G for instance is all female crew with lots of perks done.

And to be able when u reach festivies X to go and complete last years is the icing on the cake.

Of the things this month this one is really the one giving me the will to play WOT more than anything!

(but yeah and this sounds boring since i say it on all posts, but im hoping to see the type 59 come up)

Anyone watched the movie to the end?

at 3:18, in the lower right corner, there is a number there - which reads as 10056172.

Anyone an idea what it means?

It's not accepted as bonus code

Same for me, but look on the bright side: You don't have to spend money to complete this year's collections, because they'll be way cheaper (and easier to get) next year!

Last year it was impossible to fill one collection without buying boxes. I did all the missions, got close, then kept getting the same, wrong, decoration with every go on the Collider.

I hope it is easier this year. It is no problem that it is difficult to get all 4 camo but impossible to get 1 is too hard.

How did the last year system worked?

I complete stage 10, but I don't have any camos.

To get to stage X you had to have any tier V bauble in all of the slots. To get the camos, you had to have all baubles from all tiers from a certain nation.

For each bauble slot to decorate there were 5 tiers from 4 different collections, so finishing stage X was possible with just 5% of all baubles collected. But it'll be easier this year, because you can by baubles for last year's collection directly for shards, without using the Decorider, thus eliminating the chance for rng to screw you over.
