Just received this email:

Greetings Commander,

With this email, we would like to inform you that we have noticed that after the server issues on (date) you were missing some in-game currencies (either gold, free experience or credits) and we have now added them back to your account.

Wargaming Support Team

I hadn't noticed anything was missing! (unless you're WG Support in which case I'm still missing about 50K gold and a few hundred million credits).

Christmas seems to have come early

The email didn't ask you to log in through their provided link to fix the currency issue, did it? :P

It did! How did you know? It said if I gave my credit card details and bank details that I would get 50,000 gold refunded

If idiots didn't keep falling for those scams the scammers would not keep trying them not everyone knows what to look for, especially young kids they just think yay i'm getting some free stuff all i have to do is log in.

And they asked for my WG password, but I guess that's alright because they are WG support so they must know that stuff anyway, right?

How hard is to understand that this is a scam? If u gave them ur password then go and change it right now or u may find ur account on ebay at the end.:P

WG constantly tell you that they will NEVER ask for your login details, but like i said if idiots didn't keep falling for the scams the scammers would not keep doing them, and again especially the kids they just see free stuff and the rest of thier brain goes dead.

Do you think that's why I can't play at the moment? I thought maybe the servers were down or something?

Nonsense, this is genuine. Yevgeni from WG sent me a picture of himself in WG HQ to prove he is for real.

Phew thank goodness for that Rataplan. I was worried but now I’m reassured. I can now get on transferring all the money from my house sale into the safe account that the bank set up for me without worrying about my WG Account!
