So... Your plan to re-balance premium ammo is to globally nerf every premium round by giving it 7% less pen?
Well, this would not affect those who carry only premium shells. Why? Because the premium round is still better than the standard round, just not as much. So, no. This is a terrible approach and would be a straight-up buff to all armored vehicles, nothing more.
And regarding the Type 5, now they have 2 rounds with the same pen, one of wich does 25% more damage for 500% cost. A wallet-warrior's wet dream. The new special round for the Type 5 mentioned in the article is actually a very good idea, using it over the standard round would give you about 32% less dpm while increasing consistency. This means that instead of using gold only to increase damage at the cost of a boatload of credits, players would have to find a sweet spot for their ammo layout, carrying enough special HESH to damage armored targets and enough standard HE to dish out damage to weaker targets. Way better than the current Type 5, wich is nothing more than a big rolling p2w fortress.
Also, with the ammo rebalancing, all tanks will be reviewed one by one and recieve buffs/nerfs to balance them. Wich probably means that armored tanks will all recieve a HP-nerf, thus rewrding players who actually use standard rounds and aim for weakspots.
