They are not scouts. While all of them have a very good camo bonus and nice view range (attributes of a good bush scouter), their guns can dish out a lot of damage, therefore being much more useful in medium roles, similar to the Shermans and the T20 with which they share their mobility. Their weight in the MM must be lowered, especially for the 12t.

I just hope they don't pull off that same bullshit that they did with Tier 5 light tanks and making them so insanely expensive to drive, that there is literally no point.

haha i (t50-2) got shot by one of my teammates (T32) when he could have easily hit the enemy but because he wanted to steal my kill he fired before aiming and killed me from 300HP
the best thing is that when i got back to the garage i only got 1000Cr of compensation for 5000CR worth of damage. :facepalmic:

I play for fun, not for credits, and my Chaffee and 2801 happen to be extremely fun. Playing a couple of rounds in my E8 and I can easily afford to play them for many many rounds.

On the test server (taking into account everything divided by 10) they had the same credit potential as equally tiered medium tanks. This was stated in a developer Q&A as well so the test server just confirms it. Also they take the normal amount of xp to unlock since they are not top tier scouting lights.

I had tremendous fun in them and will get them on release. They will make you love playing again as long as you act like a support flanker. You are not a scout, you have the maneuverability of a fast tier 3 light so don't even try unless the arty are really tearing your team up. I am looking forward to playing them again tremendously and you should as well.

Nah definitely scouts, on the test server you get sliced like butter, they are excellent sniper tanks. Very fun.

They are interesting tanks BUT have a great problem, no gun elevation, i can deal with no gun depresion but no gun elevation is... you cant fight enemies when they are a little over you, maybe they need increase gun elevation a little.

Well, these tanks are strange, can scout like a tier 5 but can deal a lot of damage... as support for a med or a heavy are great, i see them like vultures, ready to flank and support.

Call them mediligths.

very fragile, zero elevation.

But they are genuinely enjoyable - especially the six-shooter.

I often find myself being a middle-line supporter rather than scout.

No gun elevation? No gun depression? So how those tanks can be snipers?
[irony]
Or moving those tanks do not blow up aiming circle???

When they're good they are so good XD...The score is with normal account, so 2482xp with premium.

Had 12 APCR but even those were spent shooting the thin bits of enemy tanks, so no gain from those... would have killed 6 but i just run out of ammo before the final kill shot :/

They still seem to get the same MM as T-50-2, VK2801 and Chaffee. HF -.-

Yeah Aqnde is right, im totally shocked, I was thinking I was buying a tier 6 medium that is pretty much only named a light tank but MM thinks its a tier 6 scout which is bullshit.

One more dumb thing about tier 6 light AMX 50 75, the game wont let you play in company with KV3 and other tier 6 because its a light so it must play in tiers 1-4, KV3 can play there and amx 75 not ? buahah totally ridiculous

AMX 12t can't be compared to other T5 lights as scouts because it has much less health than them and slower aswell. It resembles Chaffee because they're both for dogfights, however Chaffee has better pen, better RoF even when you take into account the autoloader, accuracy, speed, manoeuvrability and health.

It loses to them in every aspects but is treated the same.

It's actually better than VK2801. The gun can actually hurt something and it's smaller in profile making it easier to stay hidden in a bush spotting.

It can't be killed by most T9s with one shot and it can also equip the 7.5cm gun, which is roughly the same as AMX12t's, not to mention the gun depression and while not too important but in rare cases necessary, signal range is 400m less than on VK2801. At least VK2801 is not a mandatory step to take when progressing on a tree.

I got  VK28 (and all other T5 Lights) and the AMX is easylie the worst in all aspects... it can´t fire on the run because the gun has dispersion like hell and can´t equip a vertical stab.
The Gun bounces a lot, its not fast and gun depression is a bad joke! But not only depression it can´t even lift its gun!

Really a bad Tank imho.

Its worse then other tier 5 scouts coz he cost 300k credits less, need less xp to unlock, i dont know that repair bill yet but im sure that its less too... and from AMX u can grind next tanks. It shouldnt be compared to other t5 light tanks
