Capitalizing as in heavily pushing out cosmetic options for us to throw our money on, they've now started to go down this route with the painting option, the optimization of the camouflage selection and customization, more emblems and inscriptions and most recently the decals and lootbox skins. However true customization is still quite lacking, here is a Hellcat skin I stole from Desyatnik_Pansy's skin thread just now:

Spoiler

It's still the Hellcat we know, but it's been customized and personalized, something most MMO's capitalize greatly on, something WoT could have focused on a lot more than to bring us yet another premium tank bundle for 100€.

Honestly there's probably better ones you could've used to show that off. :P

If the grille skin, had just been the same color on both turret and hull. It would have been magnifique!!

Sadly it just come off...clowny indeed.

I think the idea is something like this, from NA Modder FastestClassic's "Primer Red" pack.

Spoiler

To use a small quote on the pack explaining the colour choice:

Block Quote

I've always liked how a lot of scale model German tanks are painted in their factory red primer color, and I saw one model in particular which had a black gun barrel and dunkelgelb wheels.

---

The pack will consist mainly of vehicles which were historically either blueprints or prototypes.

I think the idea with the Grille is that they have a factory hull, and they have a gun, so they just slapped the two together without repainting them. That said, the crew hatches are oddly matching the turret and gun colour, so who knows. Still, I don't think it's that bad, atleast if you view it from that perspective.

People will buy customisation skins for the regular tanks, just look at Fornites model.  It does very well from the skins.  I know my grandson keeps asking for V-bucks.

Releasing 4 skins in the loot boxes was a good idea, however its limited. I only own the IS7 (which so many people has shot at the AA gun it makes me laugh).    More tanks could have been included.

Yes I would buy them emblems and camo like for instance Tiger II from Bovington museum and the one that is parked outside somewhere. We already got Tig I 131 so why not?

This is the way games should be monetized, and not through P2W game mechanics (OP premiums; Type 4/5 premium HE; premium ammo in general) and deliberate XP sinks (TVP VTU) encouraging the use of gold XP conversions.

Biggest turd of a tank I've ever driven.... tried and tried but finally succumbed to FPing to the T50 (which is sublime) and fits me well.

Been driving it in a toon with a AMX 50 120.... great combo.  13 games 87% WR

I wish they didn't set styles and sold them as the components so i could buy other emblems to put over the ugly crap. They do themselves out of money by fixing it as a single unit.

does it increase dpm? armor? softstats? If not, don't give a f... :P

and the decals(or what was the name) - they are ugly as hell. Out of the Xmas skins, liked is and grille ones. The other 2, not so much.

No dpm? ore armor? you get 50-100% Camouflage each stiker give you 5% ;)

pay for a camo is better to have the game invaded in a cyclic and perennial way from premium tanks stupid and too strong in some aspects

I see nothing wrong with the WG selling this type of products
