Just ended a match where we capped the base at the same time the timer reached 0:00.

Post battle information clearly shows us getting 100 cap points 30+31+39 = 100, but it still was a draw. Awsome fail WG really.

You can have 300 cap points. You don't win if someone gets reset in those last few seconds after cap is achieved.

try attaching a replay so I can tell you the exact timestamp where you're wrong.

There was no reset, because then I would not have posted this.

And if you get reset you don´t show up as having cap points after the game.

100 isn't capped.
100! is capped.

Did you have that extra second needed to win the battle?

Getting to 100 is not enough. Even less so if you do at the same time as the timer runs out. As you still need the extra time to get the win by cap. It's why a dual cap is a draw, even tho one was 4 seconds behind the other. As you still need that 5 second window to get "credit" for it.

So the order on what goes over what is simply, timer, dual cap, single cap, elimination. The top one always goes over the one below, even if they happen at the same time. A single cap was at the bottom before. But after the HT missions to win by cap, it was moved up to the 2nd spot vs changing the mission's requirements. So now you can't win by elimination when they cap. It's why the 5 second window was there, and why it's reset after each kill, extending the duration of the battle, even tho the cap is at 100%. With the timer getting to zero first. There is no 5 second window. Thus draw comes before cap.

I know it does draw over, iftwo teams cap etc. That was not the point or the issue here.

It kinda is, as atm the game doesn't have the 5 second window to confirm the cap, when there is no more time to be added as the timer went to zero.

As I said... cap goes over elimination. But timer goes over everything. As when you cap to 100% you get the 5 seconds extra that is reset on each kill. But again... there is no time to be added when the timer is at 0:00. Thus timer goes over cap, just like cap goes over elimination. Thus the draw comes first.

The point is that when the counter gets to 100 and, as Baldrickk says, it goes 100 then a second later it says that  base is captured. If you have hit 100 the same second as time runs out the next second to capture will not take place, hence the draw.

Either way it is kind my point that that is the issue here.

a cap is a cap and should be a victory.   all that other stuff you guys mentioned is irrelevant for the issue at hand.

First time I encounter this and I have played since Beta.

All the other delays and prolonging of the cap you have mentioned I already knew about nothing new there.

We have had this debate at length some time ago. The rules are the rules, as daft as they seem. You have reached 100%, but cap is confirmed a second or two later. It seems much longer sometimes when others are still battling and doing damage.

The rules apply to everyone, and sometimes they will work in your favour and sometimes they will not.

It also begs the question as to what you were doing for the 900 seconds of the battle, that you needed 901 or 902 seconds to actually win?

Dude it is you who has the problem. This is not a mathematical issue it's logical. If 5 guys are so bad that can't find and kill 1 tank, they don't deserve to win. And all this thing makes the game more exciting and allows for more strategies
