Fed up with high way and its guaranteed win if you spawn north set up

it is such a bad map, looks great but plays so poor

the only good thing in 1.0 was the removal of this terrible piece of garbage but now its back

add removal of highway to 2019 wish list and you might add 1 thing to the game this year that will improve it

edit, this my free play account, laughably renamed by Wg as I am banned a bit in my main account

Can't say i agree with you, have had a few decent games on highway from the north spawn. There are far worse maps in the game than that one.

Well they didn't really change anything about it so it should be removed on the same basis that it got removed in the first place.

While I agree that Highway is a terrible map which should never been reintroduced in the same way it has been before the HD remake, it is still better than most of the other maps which recently have been reintroduced.

The new Polish map, Minsk, new Pilsen are all terrible and even an insult to the World of Tanks community. Also Glacier and the "new" Erlenberg are trash beyond anything.

And oh boy... For missions I enabled Grand Battles the other day. While the maps look nice they are so absolutly sunningly bad designed, it truely was breathtaking.

The WoT devs are truely and utterly incompetent when it comes to map design. Same terribad decisions over and over again.

if you play the map right you can negate the advantage , however that would be down to that rare beast called team work

I agree with Divsmo.   Map is one of the better ones on the rotation.  I like the map in any tank.

Played 5 times recently.  Won 3 times from the South.

How many maps are allowed to be removed by player request?  Strikes me we would very quickly be down to zero maps to play on if we all got out way.

What I find most disappointing about the new HD Highway is that the devs clearly had a long time to play around with it, it was absent from the game for ages and yet, for all that time, it came back utterly terrible. It's still a map where large areas of it are unusable and both caps along with their approaches are really very exposed so, anyone "foolish" enough to actually play this game positively and try make something happen invariably gets spotted and wrecked with little to no chance of getting cover.

It's another sort of map that, apart from the main town area, promotes and rewards deep redline camping. Like many maps, the cap and spawn areas are just too well protected with hard cover and bushes so it's much easier to win to by having one spotter sit forward in a bush and have his redline bushing farming team behind him just punish the enemy team as they advance. Alternatively, it can be even more sad by just letting your teammates die and then pick off the 25-50% hp enemy remnants as they advance towards your cap then crawl out from behind your rock and finishing off the rout. Big kill count and big damage count but nothing actually positive play involved. Steppes is another blatant example of this but lots of maps, Prok, Sand River, Live Oaks... so many maps lately... the general attitude seems to be to do nothing, wait for enemy to make the move and if that doesn't work out, suicide into a lake or off a cliff. Is this gaming experience getting worse and worse? Maybe it's just something I'm picking up on.

I've had good games on every map in the game, has nothing to do if the maps are good or bad...

I played it alot since it reappeared and i win regardless of what side i spawn on.

I always liked this map, even doe it has issues, but it is way better than some new maps and some old ones as well.

Good thing they dont remove maps just cause some folks cant play on them.

Though we all have maps we dislike, sometimes popular dislike! It's important to note that unless a map is statistically imbalanced or poses other problems it is unlikely to be removed. We always gather feedback and pass it on, with regards to players feeling on maps and the preferred layouts etc, but map diversity is important to try and give every tank an opportunity to perform in more games.

For instance I always loved Erlenberg, not a big fan of the new map, but I haven't played it as frequently and thus haven't gotten my head around it as well when attacking.

While I also like Erlenberg old and new you (WG) havent listened to feedback on maps like Ensk/Mines at Tier 10.  Yet they are still here.

Because feedback on a map needs to come from more people in more areas on multiple servers over multiple demographics of the player base reviewed with data. Map feedback does not come from 1 person and then get acted on.
