How about no?

Well, not no to the idea in general, but the tree in your petition is full of clones from various nations and you TD lines both stop at tier 7, wich means adding fantasy tanks to fill it out to tier 10.

Who needs another 3 Shermans, or 3 T-55s? A premium Panther at tier 6? The cherry on top has to be the T34-100, a clone of czech tank that is based on a russian tank.

Propose something with novel tanks and unique features, maybe even a new game mechanic, and then we're cooking. But a bunch of clones scrambled together into half a tech-tree? Thanks, but no thanks.

Edit:

Also, the way the lines are structured right now has to be some kind of joke.

The second TD line starts off with russian tanks, leads to what seems to be a TD version of a Stuart and ends with a already existing russian tier 8 TD at tier 7.

The first LT/MT hybrid line has an italian tier 2, americans from tier 3 to 8 and russian top-tiers. (Extra points for the tier 8 Patton that not even americans have, very nice)

The alternative branch for that starts with original designs (I think), wich is fine, before it goes through a czech and german tank to end up at a Sherman. That doesn't even make sense.

The second hybrid branch starts french, takes a russian detour and ends with (again, fine) seemingly original designs.

The last line are SPGs, and although some (including me) wouldn't mind a new SPG line, the community would go *edited* if those were implemented.

Again:

I mean I get that it would be cool for you to see tanks from your home country in the game, but this is just wrong on pretty much all levels...

Edit 2: 2500 signatures for a petition like this is way too little. Not only would it represent only a fraction of the EU playerbase, it would be neglible compared to the russian playerbase.

Edit 3: Aaaaand here's the qpranger-like. gj

I don't see anything in your "Yugoslavian" tech tree other than German, U.S. and Russian tanks throughout so since we already have those tanks and nations along with many variants forced into the game to satisfy other nations tech tree shortcomings I would have to say no that's really not a good idea.

Although beeing a YUGO nostalgic myself (owned even a Yugo car in 90-ies and was very satisfied with it), I also see no real option to adding such a tree to WOT. I did some research myself, but realised soon, that Yugoslavia just dont have a potential  for a unique techtree.

The reason is, that Yugoslavia didnt produce any real home-developed tanks apart from some upgrades of russian tanks. Yugoslavia altough tried to develop some unique designs but pretty much all of them never saw much more than a paper,or at best prototipe version. Yugoslavia however upgraded T55 tanks with better armour and optic devices. Also upgraded T72 tanks with optics and composite armour (late 70-ies on, which is prob. too late to fit into game). The result is M84, arguably the most effective version of all T72 tank line!

So the bottom line is, at best we may suggest and add a YU  T55M or M55S or whatever you wanna call it, upgraded with better armour and view range, maybe downgraid a gun and mobility a bit and sell it as a Russian T8 or T9 Premium MT.

Regards, Zmago

Can we have a danish tank tree as well? we had shermans, wolverines, achilles, chaffes, M41's, centurions and various leo's. I'm sure we can cook up a tech tree  if we want too :) #Danishtanksmatters

I Hate when wg keep introducing a tank again and again in different nations...

To be honest, alot of those tanks are ingame. Can't you unlock these in the tech trees & then slap your nation's flag on it? I know the Greek community does it this way, as quite some of the Greek tanks are already in various tech trees (and some of them are the elite configuration of the tanks!)

At this point, to add a new nation tankline, it should bring something new to the game as well honestly. Not just copies of existing tech tree tanks.

Not that qpranger is special. He's just someone with their own opinion as to what's good and what's bad.

WoT is already full of clone and fantasy tanks so I see no reason that ex Yugoslavian players should not be satisfied even that majority of our tanks would be upgraded version of other nation tanks. So I strongly vote yes to Yugoslavian tank line

Bad idea. A copycat line, is waste of time.

I want a Scottish Tech Tree then. They would be British clones, but would considered OP as they would be powered by 12 year old Malt Whiskey, painted with Tartan Cammo, they would fire Haggis, with Cabers as Premium Ammo, and would have Bagpipes attached to the exhaust systems.

I'm pretty certain firing haggis at people would be considered a war crime... :sceptic:

Would it be compulsory to get to the enemy cap circle and then moan about how much better your own cap circle is?

Fix the current under performing Tech tree tanks - then think about adding more tech trees

Well to be fair about it, at least what your examples are a lot more of a starting point and basis for a tech tree than some of these pure fantasy tanks that a WG dev sketched up. (Polish heavies cough cough... Italian cough... Japanese thunderboats cough cough)

Not compulsory, but if you felt the need to express your opinion, then feel free so to do.

However, remember, the person you complain to might just respond with a Glasgow Kiss. That is a sign of affection and respect for you.

Couldn't you at least include a hi-rez picture of the tech tree proposal in your opening post?
