What's going on with all these juddering turrets and insta-snap aiming ?

Some new mod ?

More likely you losing sync with the server and your client adjusting to accurate information. Mods couldn't do this if they tried, turrets can't jump and stutter, if they do, either your framerate is low or your latency is high, unless it's both.

That does not say anything about the quality of your connection.

I get it all the time when I'm using 3G/4G but never at home.

Run pingplotter, point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu or login.p1.worldoftanks.eu depending which server you use and leave it running while you play a few rounds then export the trace as an image and attach it to the forum.

Connection is solid 300mb fibre :) , I guess it could be server lowering priority for viewing mode.

Means nothing.

Your ISP could sell 300Mb to 100 people and only actually provide 1000 total (or less in some cases), which is fine if only 3 out of the 100 want to use it but when the 4th joins in it slows down for everyone.

And with everyone streaming HD/UHD it soon gets eaten up.

Your connection is yes, to your local Internet Provider, that doesn't mean your entire route to the server is. It might be that a connection point in your current path is having issues, if so, flushing your DNS can sometimes solve that. If it's a node any traffic from your area will go through though, it won't.

Is this a persistent problem or an intermittent problem? Have you tried a router reset and see if the problem persists?

I'm also not sure what you refer to by viewing mode, from the question I guessed it was other people's turrets twitching rather than yours... or do you mean their turrets start juddering once you zoom in? If that is the case this is completely unfamiliar to me and as I haven't played much recently it's still either a connection issue or a game bug, not a mod. There are aim mods that change where you aim but they displace your actual aim direction, they don't desync your aimpoint from your turret direction (i.e. they can't make it look like you're firing at angles your turret isn't facing, there might be a tiny discrepancy due to latency but not a big one).

Just making things up won't help.  Run the trace.

You wouldn't be the first person who we have found has a faulty router for instance.

Aimbots can't turn the turret any faster than the server says it can turn.

do you have any proof? any?

on a sidenote, in replays it looks even weirder sometimes,

also twitchty gun movement (up/down) is quite common thanks to 5k dpi mouses, processing latency by server etc.

That is 2 ppl that have misconstrued what i have said.

1) I never said firing at angles the gun was n ot aiming at

2) nor have I said up/down movement

Its clearly juddering on the turret not gun.

Only affects 'SOME' not all btw.

Ping plotter reporting solid stable connection so far +/- 2ms, but it reports higher than WOT client. at ~ 25ms

What about packet loss?

And considering the time, are you still having the problems?

Nada atm on PL%.

all well into green.

Does WOT latency show round trip or just to server ?

EDIT*

then again it is late now, so might not be true reading - Ill just keep it running as  I play the game in a busy period - might show something with one of the 14 hops then.

I explain the issue and looking for solution - some are helping (thanks to them) *edited*

I am just tired of all kind of [edited] people like you that come with weird theories and they are unable to prove them.
