I've already got Chimera. While missions were challenging at some times they were feasable. I think missions are way too easy now. Also, players who got Chimera before 1.4 should be awarded with something ( apart of sense of accomplishment)

I don't even bother too much with the new set of personal missions. They require you to have SPGs from all available nations in order to complete some of them, which is a big NO for me.
Please remove the "stun" requirement that forces us to play SPGs.

It seems strange to me that you see the need (quite rightly) to reduce the mission requirements for the Chimera set but aren't changing the nearly identical missions for the 260, e.g. MT15/4 should be the same as Bloc 15/2 and TD15/4 should be the same as Alliance 15/2, etc.

But maybe this is too logical?

I like the changes. 5 missions away from chimera.
However I think for all the missions that got easier people who finished them while they were harder should at least get the secondary objectives done automatically or get some consumable or credit compensation.


New missions are pretty sensible now and looking forward to finishing them.

Also really looking forward to they nerf the obj 279e missions!

Good to see the Chimera missions getting rounded down but let's be honest, they should never have gotten on to the live game in the first place - Tier 8 reward vehicle harder to obtain than the previous Tier 9 and eqaul to the previous Tier 10! Still looks tough but more doable - 25% total damage mission or 6.5k damage mission are no joke.

Does anyone have some kind of comparision of Personal Missions for Chimera in current patch and in incoming 1.4 patch? I wonder what to do - keep doing missions or wait for new update.

I think this change was very important. Easier achievements easier, more exiting gameplay means more people and gamers for Wot. Balance is everything.

I happy for the nerfs. It was much harder then the t55a missions, now it is even.

 

Only one is troublesome is the Bloc-9. There Is No Time to Bleed  change. Much easier to do the 1.3 version (2k dmg + 3k spot), then 1.4 version ( 2x block + 2,5k dmg). I hate block missions because the gold ammo. If they can't pen you first, the second shot is gold. It is way much harder to block than spot. Well I just need to finish it till 1.4

I understand the idea of analysing the data after you have enough players attempting to do the missions, and making some easier. But I'm rather surprised that some of the missions are totally changing in nature. If you've completed one without honours, after 1.4 you'll need to play a totally different mission to improve the result.

 

 

For example,  Bloc 5 before 1.4:

Primary condition 

Cause 3 armor-penetrating shots to enemy SPGs.

Destroy 1 enemy SPGs.

Secondary condition 

Win a battle.


 

Now I'd expect the first primary condition to change to something like "Cause damage 3 times to enemy SPGs" (which would allow for ramming etc. rather than only penetrating shots). But instead, the post 1.4 conditions are totally unrelated to the existing mission:

Primary condition 

Destroy an enemy vehicle by ramming, causing more damage to the enemy than your vehicle receives.

Survive the ramming.

Secondary condition 

Win a battle. Survive the battle.


And Bloc 9

Primary condition 

Enable your allies to cause 3 000 HP of damage on vehicles spotted by you.

Cause 2 000 HP of damage to enemy vehicles.

Secondary condition 

Win a battle. Survive the battle.

 

 


 

The future conditions again have no relationship to the current ones, and actually add another blocking mission which many players have expressed concerns over:

 

Primary condition 

Block 2 times more damage than the hit points of your vehicle.

Cause 2 500 HP of damage to enemy vehicles.

Secondary condition 

Win a battle. Survive the battle.

Majority of those missions are game-breakers. You are forced to do stupid things which are contradictory to your team. I'm guessing that's because they are "personal" missions but you know what Wargayming... this is a multiplayer / team-oriented game if you didn't forgot already.

I like the changes to the missions. It will make the progress smoother. On the other hand missions where we are supposed to ding large amounts of dmg on excalibur are tank dependent and player like me - with not so many heavy tanks - it is practically impossible to ding 2x my HPs - I would like this remade aswell, make it a shooting mission or something (not stunning though) to make it easier for newer players/ players who haven´t been grinding towards MAUS or 705a

So you like the changes but don't like the blocked damage missions? I'd suggest you look at my post above and the other proposed mission changes a little more closely.

Looking at the coalition missions, Coalition-9's primary condition is actually getting harder (causing damage at >300m means less targets than at >250m). Admittedly the secondary condition is easier, but still. I am wondering if this is a carefully balanced decision, or just a mistake by a tired mission developer?

Coalition-9. Keep the Distance

Primary condition 

Cause 2 000 HP of damage from a distance of 250 m or more.

Secondary condition 

Destroy 3 enemy vehicles.

Primary condition 

Cause 2 000 HP of damage from a distance of 300 m or more.

Secondary condition 

Destroy 2 enemy vehicles.

Hi all

union12 mission "stun for 180sec" forgot about it. whit wheeles tanks arty will alive 1 max 3 minutes, for that time you will shot 5 times if lucky(5x30s=150s).Arty missions won't be possible to do any more!!!!

yes good idea, if we have Chimera in garage before update 1.4 release WG should give as secondary obj done automatically and we will get all prizes(credits, etc etc)
