I am having to re install the game, but what get me is there was once a WoT's folder, and now there is the WoT's EU folder, complete with that crappy game centre shyte, just where the hell do I get he old WoT's folder?

Complete without any mods whatsoever, I had a game in my Dicker max, only to not even be able to see it spawn on the field and only one tank of my team visible wtf is going on?

You can call the folder whatever you like.  You can call it that there tank game if you like.

The old launcher is being phased out, eventually you won't have a choice.  Some others have managed to find it and I am sure they will be along to help soon.

As for what is happening to your game, from what you say it would be pure guesswork.  I suggest putting all the graphics to minimum and go from there.  Although your reason for having to reinstall might have a bearing on it.

I had to install the game again some time ago, but I do not need to use the launcher. I made a shortcut from the program file in the World Of Tanks EU folder and only use that, so I won't need the stupid launcher all the time.

You may still have the old install launcher in your downloads folder.

I'd be interested to hear how you did that?

Same as any other shortcut, really.

Although it won't allow you to update the game that way though.

Got a shortcut like that on my desktop myself in order to view replays, which for some reason don't want to be opened the regular way anymore.

Open Windows Explorer

In the address bar type "C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_EU"

Scroll down to find "WorldOfTanks.exe" (the .exe may be hidden)

Right click and select "Send to... -> Desktop (create shortcut)"

Congratulations, you now have a shortcut directly to the game on your desktop that bypasses the launcher.

Did your mother ever tell you to not accept executables from strangers?

If not, here are some download links. I ran them through Virustotal myself, and they came out fine. You shouldn't trust my word, and check them yourself, however: https://www.virustot...m/#/home/upload . Had to use Mega to upload them, Google Drive isn't very friendly to executables - for good reasons.

Game installer:

https://mega.nz/#!M2...MTqPj45Dzx3Iclc

Game launcher:

https://mega.nz/#!A3...VnEiYtP2-Va_2Mc

If your download speed is slow, try first to put the game launcher (second link) into the game folder and see what running it does. Second option is pointing the game installer (the first link) to the folder you already have WoT installed in. It at least used to work.

Just a stroke of luck that I had the installer still on my old laptop - the one I use to "grind" artillery on when I'm editing video on the main one. :)

Pin  WOT to your taskbar.. once you start it from the gamecenter you go back to desktop, rightclick the WOT icon and choose pin program to taskbar.
