I need a good TD line within the Coalition: France, Italy, Sweden, Czechoslovakia. I haven't played any TD's before, only Medium and a bit of lights and heavies. What is a good line for me to complete missions and campaign?

For you the Swedish bushwanking ebola line is the best choice.

Why is that?

It's the best out of the 2 yes.

Mostly because the baguette burners are pretty terrible until you get to t9

(Italy and chech lines aren't really an option now are they)

The only choice you have is France and Sweden. It will depend on your own play-style of course what to choose.

French td's are quite slow until tier 6. After that they gain mobility and armor, except for all having a clear weak-spot on top from tier 7-10. Tier 8-10 have auto-loader mechanism and because of that a long reload for the clip. I would call the play-style aggressive, because of the clip combined with bad accuracy. Gun handling isn't the best as far as I know, but that is on most French tanks. On the other hand: the pen is good on most of the guns.

Swedish have a complete different playstyle: sneaky and stealthy. Good camo values and good guns. Mobility is good on the high tiers and the camo is extremely high, especially on Udes (tier 8).

Pick what suits you..

I would agree: go with Sweden, although I found the line very frustrating for much of the lower tiers (I think I'm on T8 on the NA server) - you'll probably feel a powerful urge to free-xp most/all of the modules on most things...

The suffering is worth it when you get to UDES - that's the point where you can start enjoying yourself (although to be fair, the fully upgraded T7 and T6 aren't awful). I think I may have played the S1 rather more though (I have a reasonably good crew on my NA one)...

If you have the gold kicking around, you could make a reasonable case for just getting the S1, and avoid the aggravation of the the grind up the silver tree...?

Doesn't Swedish also have siege mechanic? I love being stealthy but not at the cost of being a sieger.

It does. It's actually much less of a nuisance than you might expect though (plus binos/cammo nets remain active in siege mode, provided you don't get bumped by some silly bugger)...

Edit: T8+ only, of course.

Might as well go full idiot mode if you have to play TD for something. Wargaming, in all their wisdom, has made it somewhat of an issue to play 'active TD', unless you're in one with a ton of armor.

The Swedish TD grind is also quite tolerable. The T7 isn't great, the T5 is kinda weird, but it's tolerable.

Why do you need a TD? I am pretty sure most of those missions are completable in high tier meds as they have pretty much the same damage potential as those TDs, especially as the French TD line is awful and the Swedish one if massively situational.

I was just thinking that I've managed to complete nearly all of the 3 tanks missions without a coalition TD.

Wait untill you can buy tanks for bonds, and buy the tier 10 premium TD

I have made my TD missions with swedish TD'S, i have finished to play Baquette TD line before having autoloader

For the Stug Campaign and the new campaigns. I don't have any Coalition tanks at all. Nor any TD tanks. So it's a good match.

Ah ok, was just wondering because there is no requirement to use TDs in the second PM set.

Swedish TDs should be ok for the first set of missions because they are stealthy and if you eventually get to the tier 10 it has the potential for high damage games in the right situations.

That's exactly what I am looking for. A TD Coalition tree that can do the job.
