Why the ammo cost for 90mm is less then 84mm?

I just checked t26e5 ammo cost 252silver where as for 84mm British it cost 680silver

1)now u might think t26e5 is premium but fv4202 is premium the ammo cost is still 680.

(Comparison with fv)

2)U might think about penetration but t26e5 has more pen

3)U might think about dmg but t26e5 does +10 more dmg.

4)Calliber for fv is less then patriot still fv high cost shell.

So if 1,2,3 and 4 are not the factors then u can add t-44 to comparison which has 100mm caliber and ammo cost is 252silver.

WHY THE HECK POOR BRITS PAY MORE FOR AMMO NEED SOLID REASON PLZ!!!!

Ammo cost depends upon dmg but in these 3 cases(t-44,t25e5vsBrits 84mm) it's unusual....

U might think fv is using ap where's as patriot is using apcr as apcr is cheap ammunation but that doesn't mean u would more than double the cost of ap then explain me this why russian stg shell cost is not double as compared to French m4 Sherman and explain why poor t-34-3 is paying 1025silver for ammo compared to stg paying  834silver.

Interesting question.

I think you might one of the few who noticed it, as the majority of tomatoes lately are just spamming gold they probably don't have to worry for the bills of standard ammo :izmena:

Shell costs are quite random. Never saw any logic connecting cost and gun parameters.

Just another example, T-150 AP shells cost 270 credit for 300 alpha and 167 pen while the standard 122mm shell cost 5-6 times more for 90 more alpha and 8mm more pen.

Guess WG tune them to create profitables and less profitable tanks.

It's why I love the T26E4. It's cheap as chips to run.
