I realized that I play much better if I just chose one class for instance TD or Heavy tanks and play only that, exchanging 2-3 tanks, in one games session. But that makes me super bored super fast so I change tiers and classes and my quality goes down. So Im curious, do you mix or stick to one class/tier?

Well, most of my play time is spent grinding tanks or getting to 100 battles in some of the lower keepers, so yes I change all the time. It may reduce my effectiveness, but meh.

I mix it up all the times mostly going for the X2 rewards

I normally pick a single tank for a session and just play that. Sometimes; namely when I'm platooning with people and our tanks are in battle; I'll switch to a different tank but that's pretty uncommon and relies on the idea that we'd frequently both (or more) die before the battle ends.

Playing all classes (except arty) on tier 5 to 10. Although more meds and lights than heavies and tankdestroyers

Spamming a tank (usually 2) is more effective for doing a good session. Plus the MM is nicer if you do this.

But I prefer to do my x2 on the tanks I am grinding instead, I don't mind being low tiers.

When I played this game I used to only play tier 9's exclusively, only fun and bearable tier.

I have currently ten tanks, which I play, say, actively with. Three of which heavy tanks, four mediums and three lights. Those ten are either

1) fun to play with,

2) good credit makers (yes, premiums, I must admit) and

3) tanks whose next upper tier vehicle I am grinding.

Tiers are 3 - 9.

My objective is usually to get X2 / X3 exp for every of those ten tanks, so mixing tiers and classes depends on the pattern with which those victories are achieved. And that can, as we all know, vary very much.

This.

I am grinding many tanks at once.

So many doubles to do

Mix it up continually which is probably bad for getting into a rhythm. Also tend to avoid going to the same old place on the map everytime. Never grind more than 2 tanks at a time though.

Hmm, "daily play sessions"...

  • Could be a bad time for that class/tier so why would i continue to blunder on?
  • Could be a weekend or a bad time in the day so switching to a more relaxing class/tier would be a better idea.
  • Could be tilted or tired and the more you play the worse it gets.

Moral of the story, be flexible. The better you manage your account (credits-discounts-missions-marathons-playing time-etc.) the better player you'll be because you'll have to spend less time, effort and sometimes money to reach your goals.

I play my fun tanks, I play my old fun tanks which have had their good crews switched out with new recruits, I play some premiums and I also play the tanks I currently grind. Overall that tends to end up in tier 5-8 and all classes played, with MT's being played the most, followed by HT's and TD's played about the same and then LT's and SPG's in the played the least. Can't say I've noticed any particular gain in playing just a few tanks over all of them apart from that I obviously get more consistent result in my elite tanks with good crews in them, but that will always be the case.

^This part is the same for me.

I still have few of the least interesting lines to grind, other than that all finished. So currently I'm basically retired (or what I think that would be like) and just play fun tanks, buying back bunch of them, and train new crews. So many female crew members to use as commanders that I can buy back old tanks and it's awesome that bonds can be used to get 6th sense. Just enjoying the game, scrolling through the carousel to see what to pick, differs from tiers 5-10 and every class.

Never really kept tanks and just power grinded through them. In hindsight, that might have been a mistake.. maybe.. possibly. So buying them back is a process that should take time.

For me i tend to play a different tier and different type of tank every game i play.  I never really stick to one tank for game after game, unless of course the RNG gods are interrupting my gaming then i might play a favorite for about 4 in a row but that is it.

I just do daily doubles for tanks that I want to progress on at the moment.

I usually play for the daily bonus in all my Tier 9 tanks. Then pick a few Tier 10 I feel like playing for the bonus.
If the games so far have been "Great" I continue on Tier 9 for a few more games.
If it's just "OK" I grind some credits/crews.
If it's "Meh" I just try to do some missions so I can get something out of it.
If it sucked, then I call it for the evening.

Generally no, unless I'm tooned then we have a rule that if we win the picker stays on and we keep the same tanks.

But during a session I stick with a class, Meds unless its meds, as i will drop in a light tank during the session.

Daily doubles for the grind, but with a pattern.

Start with Meds - Leo, T34-100 and T34-2 (chinese). Inoffensive middling tanks just to get the fingers warmed up. From there it depends on how I feel.

Dunno what will happen when I grind those out though. (tbh the Konstrukta is done - I just don't fancy moving up a tier and being expected to take out defenders)

Yes. But mainly I just play lights and the odd arty. The latter just to remind me what a stupid vehicle class it really is.

Also; for some strange reason I do better in my lights after playing two games in arty. It must be that the game became fun again switching back from the GWT or Lefh to real tanks.
