I don't think so.

I want South Coast back.

I want Pearl River back.

I even want Stalingrad back.

The more, the merrier.

Indeed I liked the old maps even if they weren't always perfectly balanced, what bothers me more are unbalanced tanks.

Kharkov and Swamp too... I really liked Swamp for some reason, when the teams actually played properly, it was easy to get really good games on it.

Kharkov had the best theme in the game and I will NEVER forgive WG for removing it! :izmena:

Kharkov Intro:

I miss the variety. You could argue that there's plenty of maps in WoT already...but by removing maps this game feels new...I don't want it to feel new. I want it to feel the same as when it felt when I first started playing it. I wanna see some familiar places and get all nostalgic about the good times of being a new player and soaking up all the (then interesting) info about the game!

I miss that feeling. :(

I want Port back. I can live without South Coast and Stalingrad tbh. Pearl River was a "meh" map. Sometimes it was fun. Other times it was a terrible lemming fail. As that depended on how many HT's vs meds you had on the last version. We don't even talk about the first variant.

Stalingrad and Karkov sucked, Stalingrad because you couldn't break down the walls so you could flank. Karkov because it killed my frame rates.

Do want Pearl River back though. Especially want Fiery Salient back.

Port, Kharkov, I would welcome them all back with open paws.

I am bored with the current limited choice of maps,

especially the recently botched ... sorry, reworked ones.

Not to mention Mittengard - I would love to see tier x games on that :D

It would seem that you haven't met a map called KOMARIN.

It was a horrible camp fest or a 2min game with a fast cap.

Dragons ridge, flatter. Dragons meek hills, maybe? It was a larger map, which created a couple of fun possibilities until the meta became H6 or whatever.

Was okay on low and mid tiers. The earlier versions were better than the last one.

Heck these days after a couple of 3-5-7 bottom tier matches on Ensk, Tundra, Paris, Mountain Pass, Abbey and Mines I'm almost starting to miss Hidden Village and I used to dislike that map a lot.

South Coast

Statistically favoured one spawn

Pearl River

very corridor map

Stalingrad

only 900 x 900 personally I was so glad to see the end of this city map.

Bring back;

because we all know Prokhorovkha is the best map in the rotation, and doubling the chance of getting it can only improve the rotation. it is 1000 x 1000.

Swamp. Because no two games were ever the same. It provided real variety.

Actually, I like city maps much more than the current trend to make wide open maps with small hills. I hate those maps really, in city maps you can go anywhere and be creative, in sand river you play heavy, you go river. You can try north or south but you'll be pounded by arty as soon as that LT crosses the dunes and sees you.

Since when they removed Prokhorovka?

You all do get that changing map roster from time to time WG is making WoT less boring?

yes - it gave players the illusion that their opinion counts

No no, they removed Fiery Salient, a war-scarred version of Prokhorovka...a very cool looking version, at that.

It was a corridor map that had sense. There were multiple roads (or corridors) and you could actually advance, even on a camping enemy.

Yeah it was one of the few corridor maps that I enjoyed.  It offerd multiple corridors wether you went left right or center and even allowed flanking manouvers. Rather than the usual HT's go here, meds go here. Lts that is your bush etc.

South coast and Lenningrad should stay in the bin imo. Fiery Salient was pretty much Prok' with a new coat of paint but at least it was an open map. The dog fights overhead were a nice touch.
