My particular case is the Batignolles-Chatignon 12t, BatChat 12t, or whatever you want to call it. It's a good tank, so XP/game is great anyway and I tend to do very well on it.

However I commonly stack up tanks and play them until the daily win. XP explosion on all tanks, 2x boost, usually with some reserves on top for a more-than-decent final XP sum, then I play my premiums and rack up money, I only have 4M right now and so much to buy.

Right, so this tank is now topped up, the only thing that remains here is research tanks for the elite status. Easy task, ain't it. Well, 3 tanks at 200k XP each... it's not even close to anything else I have done thus far.

So... do you recommend anything in particular to farm tanks like this? Do you follow any specific tactics?

It's understandable to grind the 3 tanks (BC AP, AMX 30 and the 13 90) but do you need to buy and play all 3 tanks?

Right now, I only *need* one. The other 2 will come eventually though. I think I see where you're going.

1) Get proper tools. I'd recommend Hilti's, they tend to last for long.

2) Remove little parts that you can.

3) Start from the sides. Remove the upper part of the tracks to make more room.

My most probably choice is the B-C 25 t line first.

I like autoloaders, they are what make french tanks unique, but the other one has a juicy 3200 DPM that I can't take my eyes away from... I had made a choice based solely on the autoloader to be honest. The other one, I hadn't noticed it had such good gun stats. Anyway, what makes french tanks special are the autoloaders, for any other normal tank I could play any other faction, I think. The light tank will come at the end though because I want to transfer the crew with the least XP loss possible.

I'm just guessing now because I honestly don't like spoiling myself and just go for whatever tanks look cool instead of reading reviews. That would also explain my crapchoices when getting the M103, STA-1, and similar stuff, but I'm here for the fashion.

Grind the first tank now. After you finished that grind, let the bc12t wait for a while. Grind the 2nd tank when you want to go for that one.

At least the bc12t is a nice tank to play :)

I would definitely go for the 13-90 at first.

^ That dude who doesn't like russian tanks beat me to it. :)

The 13 90 is really good, embrace the light tank life and you won't have problems playing mediums but then you won't have trouble playing good tanks (lights/meds/fast heavies/fast TDs) in general.

this and in fact you could leave the last two until next years crimbo event and grind the last part with the bonus active - just enjoy your t9 and don’t t grind again until the t9 is elited

Play it during Frontlines? That way you only play it for a week out of the month, so you have 3-4 week breaks between grinds AND you only face other tier 8s.

I would play them a lot for a period, then play something else, to do the same again after a while. If you get frustrated you probably will perform less and make the grind even harder. At least, playing a tank for a longer period usually increases your performance.

I'd say the same way you grind short tanks?

On topic. Finish one after the other basicly. Since by unlocking one of the next tanks you should have a good feel for the tank and how to play it... Keep the rhythm going I'd say.

Or at least it is what I do unless I'm only after one of the next inline and not the others

Once a tank has got its 2x bonus for the day it's filtered out of my garage, so I just play tanks for the 2x bonus and leave them then. It took me 4 years to grind both the KV4 and the AC46 that way

I usually do the x2 as I grind multiple tanks the same time usually. Partly because I get bored by one tank and partly because I'm not satisfied with the normal amounts of xp and usually I have time only to play 1-5 battles at a time so I feel 2h personal reserves a waste to use.

Never had to do the 12t grind, had all the tanks leading from it, but I tend to just power grind with boosters or if I don't like it just do the x2s and I'll get there eventually.
