What would you guys say is the best line (or specific tank for that matter) all in all to really push yourself and that provides as much opportunities to improve as possible?

Lights and mediums but you already do that. Just need to focus more on the damage output if you want to be "better". Don't see your point though!

Edit:

Maybe that was not very convincing so let's try something different shall we...

  • If you want to pad WN8 play tanks with low expectations, you can find a table of these expected values somewhere but i guess you already know that!
  • If you want to pad WR play in a platoon with other good or better players in tier 9 or 10 but i guess you already know that too!!
  • If you want to pad PR play with a mediocre team in team battles or even better FC your own team not sure you already knew that so we're back to "!"
  • If you want more tips and tricks join a better clan, playing advances with good teams helps with your strategic view of the battlefield but you already know that!!
  • Rerolling is also an option if you want a shortcut and i am sure...well you know the drill!!!
  • Press "F" to pay respects!!!!

Being good at some pastime is very hard to quantify. It's not really a science and if it turns into work then something is definitely wrong upstairs. Sorry if i am too critical.

I don't want to pad results. I want to improve.

I can understand why my question could sound weird to you since it presumes that there is a tank line that's better than most in oder to become a better player and it's not obvious that it is the case.

TVP tier 8 Czech medium,M3 Lee/Grant, Churchill I and T28 TD (not Prot or Concept, those are good). Dominate the battlefield with those POS.

And you don't think that's a bit over complicated for a video game? Also improvement doesn't entirely depend on the tank or class.

Ok let's start from scratch, you want...

  • Fast
  • Good view range
  • Good DPM
  • Suitable alpha
  • Good penetration
  • Usable accuracy
  • Usable armor

Russian meds which you're already familiar with. 140, 430u, 907 if you have access to that, etc.

American meds, they're not fast but they have gun depression and their expectations are crap for some reason.

All the russian lights from tier 7 up, crap expectations as well.

Italian meds are good but their DPM is kind of trash.

French lights from tier 6 to 9 are good.

Chinese heavies are okay to play as mediums, their gun handling can be horrendous though.

British heavies are great from tier 7 up, semi crap expectations but they are heavies and therefore doesn't meet the criteria above.

TDs and arty are off, most other lights are off. Your world is about to become a whole lot smaller!

Try the US TD line to the T95 and T110E3,

Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

In wich tank class or role would you like to improve?

As there isn't a single line that can help you became better in every aspects of the game:

-If you want to improve in armour usage, german HTs and IS-4 line will teach you about angling.

-If you want to improve Hulldown capabilities, SConqueror, Patton and CentAX line are focussed on that gameplay.

-Heaviums are at their best on 277 and WZ-111-5A lines or in 430U if you prefere the MT tag.

And so on. Tell us where you want to get better and we may be able to suggest something accurately.

I feel this suggestion; Only concern is obviously arta and how fast they can ruin your games with pen shots.

Sure, but it will teach you many important lessons about redline sniping in mediums and how unless you do insane amounts of damage, you lose the game if the MM mirrored you with a Russian medium on the enemy team becasue they can spot from positions you can't because of turret and be way more aggressive than you, and you will have to wank in a bush waiting for the right moment.

Fun playstyle, really.

"To all law-enforcement entities this is not an admission of guilt. I am speaking to my family now..."

Yeah i actually liked the black prince, its armor works if you side scrape, i like pew pew guns to perma track people and i don't mind slow tanks.

One of the funniest moments in all my 53k battles was when i capped the base alone in Steppes encounter. It was a tier 9 game and all my team  went to the other flank, i was too slow and too lazy to go fight tier 9 heavies so i went to the cap. Our guys still lost but the enemy were too slow to reset. Imagine getting outpaced by a BP in a 4 minutes battle! :D
