Dear Forumties,

Last night after lots of considered thought discussion, research and consumption of alcohol I decided on a new course of action, As we all know making decisions whilst drunk is nearly always a good idea.

I currently only have 1 tier 10 the T110E3 and even though its immensely difficult to play "cough cough" I now need something that is a little less of a challenge!

So my question is this what is currently the best and most annoying tier 10 artillery with gold ammo?

Currently I'm on the US tier 7 Arty  M12 as I was "Forced" by WG hoodlums, to play arty for the campaigns and got bitten by the bug. I'm also considering re installing XVM so I can focus on blue/purple players

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Please bear in mind I will only be using gold ammunition, as I'm not a tramp!

I suggest asking a friend to give you a slap in the face.

Probably the Russian or German tier 10. M55 and Russian tier 9 also seem strong and in no way weaker than some T10s. Conqueror gun carriage used to be where it was at, but since the changes I'm not very impressed.

As the first tier 10 arty I would recommend T92 HMC. It packs a mighty punch and the splash is magnificent as well, and you will also not be restricted by limited range on larger maps, like it is the case with Conqueror GC, and aiming is slightly better than the British counterpart as well.

GWE 100 is more like tier 9, and Obj 261 is ammo-restricted, while the French one in its current emaciated autoloader state is a sad joke.

I ground almost all of them and the easiest of them was the us line.

If I had to do the grinds again I wouldn't even bother with the others.

Currently working on the French line just so I can say I got all of them. But it's not that good.

Is the T92 good with gold shells?

Object 261..flattest trajectory means there are lots of shots you can't make. Also the most likely to run out of ammo, if you get a good map, due to relatively high rate of fire vs small ammo rack (18 x 27 seconds)

BC 155 58..least powerful of the lot. Most likely of the 5 to give you a zero damage hit vs e.g. a Maus. Autoloader means you can feel stupid/annoyed 3 times in a row. While it was the best of the lot, it was destroyed by the change in arty mechnics and the upgrade to HD model.

GW E100..the most likely to survive a counter battery arty player. Acceptable, but not outstanding.

Conq GC...slowest and most inaccurate, but when it lands in the right grid square can be very satisfying.

T92..Best compromise in my view between damage, accuracy etc, and has the added advantage of making the M53/M55 elite..

If it was me, I'd stick at the tier 9 US piece; the M53/M55.

I'm not sure there's a X tier that can beat it.

Stop playing arty until it's too late. Your brain can still develop normally if you only stop clicking early enough.

I would go with Olias and Nuclear on this one, the M53/55 with stock gun is maybe the best arty tier for tier. (maybe second after Lefe)

I have the German and French t10 arties, both are solid.

On Soviet and British line I am still at t7.
