Yes

Seriously tho, Tiers III to V can be tremendous fun late at night, usually only other seal clubbers so it can be surprisingly challenging:)

From time to time, yes. It kind of counters the bad feeling of being bottom tier 99% of the time I play the middle-high tiers. Matchmaking is trash anyway, so why would I feel bad for one little game where I happen to be top tier.

Lower tiers, IMO, allow to play tanks the "cavalry" way : charge in, prevail or die. Which Win8 hoarders contemptuously call 'playing for fun' (how dare people play for fun, geez !).

High tiers are, according to the way people want to see it, a game of skill or an exercice in cowardice.

At higher tiers, it's better to have very good crew, premium ammunition liberally loaded, premium consumables (mandatory food) and improved modules.

But anyway you look at it, the dominant factor is patience.

*yawns*

I even remember SirFoch he doesn't play for fun, the day I heard that it rang a bell.

If we had +1/-1 or less of a gap between tiers, I would seldom play high tiers, which I only play because of the more satisfying tank/gun handling.

But not having fun at the moment, so no more premium account and probably going to take another long break, this game had it's days IMO.

If it's from time to time then nvm my comment.

Ofcourse there is no harm in that

The professional seal clubber is what I'm more unhappy about  makes the game terrible for everyone. Not just the new players

Well I've played a lot of lower tiers and I'd say the problem of sealclubbers is very much over estimated.

So I played 129 battles, mostly tiers 4-7 and these are my results.  Although I can carry, I am disappointed at the number of times I am low tier.  At least the MM at tiers 1-3 is -1/+1.  Although I started to get angry and thought of switching to all low tiers, I decided to relax and remind myself that I am still having FUN.  I am of the opinion that the ideal tiers now are 6, 7, and 9.  I will be escalating my Seal Clubbing.  Previously, I only visited lower tiers on occasion.

I love to take my M8A1, Luchs, Ke-Ho or Chaffee to the battlefield.

As said above, once you meet other experienced players, it becomes quite fun. BTW, there are always wanna be clubbers on the field.

The other day I was accused of clubbing when top tier on SU-122-44. It seems that clubbing is extremly broad banded.

Lower tiers are fun generally as it is not full of players obsessed about the win and WN results, most of the players there have yet to learn those vices.  Seal clubbing is not as prevalent as is portrayed and the clubbers are fairly easy to spot.  When you see them on the red team, then yo know you are going to have some fun, specifically trying to limit their effectiveness! I remember back in the day the there were a couple of known clan players who always tooned up with 3 PZ1's or luchs's, one was Greek, the other German. By chance I ran into the German one 3 weeks ago on Abbey.  I knew they would go the west side and warned my team and surprisingly a high percentage of our team went there.  The carnage was great, but the toon died to the man-much pleasure indeed:)

Yes playing a tier V stock tanks against an elite tier VII, is lots of fun.

Lots of sealcubbers, who just farm the tomatoes. Too many derp guns IMHO.

Totally agree with the OP. I'm way too crap to play above Tier 6, and particularly love Luchs, Hetz & Alecto fun at Tier 4.

Shoot me.

I find this funny, since I'm trying to get all tanks I usually start at tier V, and in all games there are always more than 1 green or blue player with a Luchs or similar....

Yes it is prevalent because it only takes one sealclubber who kills half the team and makes half the total damage to ruin the game of the new players.

This is not really true though , at high tiers there are also a lot of bad players....

The only difference is that there is more room for making mistakes because there is more hp to lose.

Ive had just as much bad and good games at tier 8 as at tier 4 or 3 , some games you got nice teams and some games you have total blind player teams.

Tier 8 to 10 (even at tier 10 lemming trains etc) is the same trash because people just can buy those tier  8 premium tanks without having any experience in this game.

My sweet spot is at tier 6/7 , it gives me the best MM most of the times.....but some tanks are just cursed and always have a really bad MM.

Usually I play at tier 6  because you can actually can pen tier 8s (thats why I have 2k games in my crom) , tier 7s can meet tier 9s with hard armour and huge guns....so its more unforgiving.

But low tiers are quite fun though !  Luchs is so much fun , t28 is fun , PzIII etc ......racing full speed over the map is what makes it fun for me (ok sometimes it feels like sealclubbing but everybody has experienced to have sealclubbers at low tiers when they started to play the game so now its your time to use the baseball bat).
