Where are you getting your average battle length from?
I wrote a tool ages ago to do just that It does rely on replays having results though.
A long time ago now I did a comparison of pre 9.18 MM to post 9.18MM and the difference on average was about 9 seconds iirc, with both times being a little under 5 minutes.

Well, that's why I listed the script as well as the exe produced from it.
Those trusting can just use the exe.
Those who are more paranoid can check the script and use that
Edit: damn. I forgot I updated it to use common code in my replay analyser...
You can find that here https://github.com/B...ay_team_balance
Actually, if you don't want to use the exe, just go there, the length code is in that repo too.

4-6 minutes is very common. Which i really dislike, as it is usually in the longer games that i do well, except too often "longer game" means "everyone except me and maybe 1-2 others are dead" and it's a race to see how much damage you can do to the 10+ enemies still alive before they do something smart and crush you.
Or if the enemies are stupid, see if you can survive capping and getting a win anyway. That's always funny. Coolest ever was once when i did this and got the Raider badge, alone vs 5 enemies, and they let me win by capping, they never even managed to spot me once... *lol*

IDK my real number but it feels like on average it's about 4-5 minutes.
Several games last until 5 minutes remain, very few times I get to hear the bell, most games my team rushes and we are 6 vs 13 in 30 seconds, so I survive as long as I can and pick enemies off, a few games I spearhead a push, brawl for 1 or 2 minutes, and after that we get rekt because the other side fell instantly. Some games we rush and win instantly without any resistance...
Hard to say, but that's my guess.
