Been having a lot of fun in the wheeled light tanks, here's a way to make it even more fun. Maybe even with realistic gear shifting and a switch for the modes? I'm in :D

...ha, good one.

Truthfully, I've been wondering for some time now if it's possible to play WoT on PC with a controller just like on console...

Hmm?

Seeing as I can't even assign one of my many mouse keys to the Push-To-Talk function, I wouldn't hold your breath.

There is no analogue control at all so a wheel isn't going to give you any better control.

But if you want to use your wheel I'm sure there are programs that will translate the analogue input into a button press.  There certainly were the last time I looke dinto it.

Truesay polestar,

As a fan or Grand Turismo I always played with manual gears and used to change gear settings for different tracks as not to rev out, lower the suspension, adjust camber and castor angles.if people even know what that stuff is Pro huh? my favourite machine is the Mazda 787B Le Mans car, only a 5 speed but boy this car is mean.

They dumbed down turismo because the noobs didn't like research, or being able to adjust things i suppose learning is too difficult for the younger generations.

The thought of being able to do this is intriguing you may need a partner to operate the gun. But the man with the golden gear change would be king....

I'm so exited by the havoc these vehicles will cause especially to those heavy tank players!, I am considering setting up some automatic replies to all the upcoming wheeled vehicle whines that will no doubt appear in the next few weeks!

How would you shoot ? Even if you manage to get it working, you will be a racing car in a tank game.

As a fan or Grand Turismo...

You can't exactly call yourself a fan of a game whose name you can't even spell properly...it's Gran Turismo.

BTW If you really want a complicated simracer which rewards car setup knowledge, get Project Cars 2, I have it and I love it. You will require a wheel though, with force-feedback...controllers are quite wonky with PCars.

Shameless plug to my youtube channel if you wanna see me drive:hiding::

I dunno... I mean... I can use a joystick in world of warplanes...

Oh wait... no I can't because the devs smegged up and made it buggy where your joystick might stop responding entirely after respawning. :teethhappy:

Saw a QB video once where there was a guy playing on a trackpad.

NVM found it.
