Hello Forum,

What is your take on the Tier III Premium russian light, the LTP? Is it good for unstressful low tier gameplay? Would it be for seal clubbing? How does it generally fare against it's tier counterparts ? How about as a crew trainer?

There was not much info on the tank online :\

Thanks

It's a great free garage slot, of that I'm certain.

It's great for unsuccesfull low tier game play. You want stress relief, not going to happen in low tier chaos, but I would recommend the Pz. 1c, preferably with 2 friends in a 3 pew-pew-pew platoon. With full gold loadout that is.

Cruiser II is the only tier 3 thats worth it, one shot pretty much everything in it's own tier then you can load HEAT and slap matildas for 280 when you get +1. Just don't get caught on the reload!

But do bear in mind that those games are pure chaos - expect to play against enemy team all by yourself most of the time. And what's kinda shocking after getting used to tier 8-10 mobility & agility, is the sluggines and powerless of the low tier tanks.

The T-127 is much better Tier for Tier.

Yeah it's what i play when my friends want to do a tier 3, the gun isn't great at range with the high arc and long aim time so its better close up.

Can be fun to hide behind hills in 3rd person view looping shots over the top though, had a few angry messages calling me a hacker because i could hit them but they couldn't hit me back :P

LTP was sound back in the days after we were gifted it for free.  It never saw tier IV until relatively recently.  It's just not as easy to angle against incoming fire as is the T-127 (which I also happened to get for free).  The gun on both is only Tier II so you need to have an idea how to defeat enemy armour.

My go to low tier stress reliever is the LeFH arty

It's almost as if I'm passing my stress onto other players every 7 seconds. It's amazing how much better I feel afterwards

It's a poor man's T-127. Same gun, less dpm vs the 127. Less engine power and power to weight vs the 127. Less hull armor vs the 127. T-127 has about 70mm effective on the upper hull plate as it's also at a bigger angle. The LTP has about 50 effective armor there. So in a pure tier 3 game. The 127 can bounce a few shots.

As a crew trainer the 127 also has a radio operator. Useless for high tier crew training tho. LTP lacks a gunner slot, but has a loader slot. 127 has a gunner slot, but no loader slot. And mid to high tier lights have both.
